When I first moved to New York a couple months ago I was looking to meet some new people and play pickleball. My first week, I joined a Conquer game where I made some friends and had some good games. The app is super easy to use. You can just look for games in your area and sign up with the click of a button. Regular New Yorkers are getting pushed out of spaces meant for everyone. These are public parks, not your private rec center. They’ve even added a Classpass-style membership, which makes it super affordable to play multiple times a week. I’m now playing 2–3 times regularly—and loving it.
