## What is ConsistGuard?

ConsistGuard helps you catch contradictions across PDFs, scanned handouts, and typed notes—without sending your data anywhere.

When documents disagree, your brain has to work harder to spot the conflict. That mental effort takes focus away from what you’re actually trying to learn or verify.

Here’s an example:
One document says “Emperor penguins are native to Antarctica.” Another says “Emperor penguins are commonly found in the Arctic.”
You might miss that clash. Context Guard won’t.

It checks 1–3 pages of text for factual, semantic, and logical inconsistencies. Everything runs on your device. No data leaves your device.

Context Guard flags two kinds of mismatches:

Factual conflicts — different claims about the same thing (e.g., meeting on Tuesday vs. Thursday).

Structural mismatches — a summary or heading that doesn’t match the actual content (e.g., syllabus lists 5 modules but only describes 4).
