Do not think you can play your console “on the road” meaning if your remote play and console is on different internet connections - unfortunately you’re unable to play. Works on the same wifi but can’t play away from home which sucks and pointless of an app. THIS IS A TRUE REVIEW. Ive also contacted PSN support and they said “hotspot has weak connection” false because I’ve paired Mac to the ps5 using the hotspot connection and it worked. SIMPLY CANT USE DIFFERNET NETWORK CONNECTIONS!!!

I decided to try this app for PS5 streaming, but the experience was subpar. First, the UI is extremely primitive and the UI/UX design is unintuitive, making it feel like an unfinished product.
More importantly, the streaming performance is unacceptable. Despite having both my Mac and PS5 hardwired (Ethernet) to a high-performance router, I still encountered significant input lag and frequent screen tearing.
Additionally, the app lacks modern features: it only supports AVC encoding and lacks HDR support. For a remote play app in 2026, the technical limitations and poor optimization make it hard to recommend.

**Developer response:** Stuttering is caused by Apple’s AWDL service, and it can be easily fixed with a simple setting change.
Game stuttering or mosaic artifacts:
Set your router’s 5G Wi-Fi channel to 149 (EU/Japan: 44), the channel bandwidth does not enable 160 MHz.
On iPhone/iPad/Mac, turn off system location services.
The UI/UX is designed with a clean, minimalist aesthetic, it’s a matter of personal style.
HEVC HDR will be available, so don’t worry.

可以说是目前市面上串流ps5效果最好的软件了 延迟超低 动作游戏都可以打无伤 还原了ds5上除手柄声音以外的的全效果 码率也高 有公网Ip的异地串流也可以做到秒连 体验效果拉满 配合Ar眼镜可以做到随身“大屏幕”掌机模式 太爽了

Bonjour j’ai énormément de latence malgré une bonne connection , est ce possible d’avoir votre aide ?

**Developer response:** Apple systems periodically switch Wi-Fi channels to perform scans, which causes stuttering. Only when the Wi-Fi channel is set to 149 (or 44 in the EU/Japan) will it stop switching.
Enable ultra-low latency, set Latency to Ultra-low, on the PS5 select Auto for the resolution, and turn off ALLM and VRR.
In addition, on iPhone/iPad/Mac/Apple Vision Pro, turning on system Location Services will also trigger periodic Wi-Fi scans, which cause latency spikes. On the Vision Pro, Apple has already added a low-latency mode to avoid this issue, but iOS and macOS currently do not have a low-latency mode yet.

I don’t understand what’s the reason but found the other reviews to be unfair. 

I got this app hoping to play remotely with my PS5 and got to do exactly that. I followed the YT video with instructions, opened all the necessary ports in my router, logged to my PS account and got it all working at first attempt. I need to tweak my bitrate rules etc. but I will test this slowly.

The app itself works as expected, the latency on controller was minimal. Note it all also depends on how fast your Internet connection is.

I recommend to anyone who wants to remote play with their PS5 in MacBook.

Unable to sign in to PSN ?, The PSN page is temporarily inaccessible. Try reopening Console Remote and logging in again. Or switch the registration method, finish pairing the PS5 and wait for the PSN page to be restored tomorrow. Open [Connect Device] → [PS5-Local] → [Edit] → [Obtain Account ID] → select [Via External Login]. Under these conditions, PS5 streaming should work properly. This fake app is set to collect ip address and log in info. Do not do it. Please owner of this app please smear fecal matter on your face for me

每次链接都要重新输入PS账号，一点都不好用，被坑了58块大洋。大家去PS官网下载专用的remote play,很好用，还是免费。

You can only connect and play if the TV is on, what’s the point of remote play then

**Developer response:** Another user encountered the same issue as you, and it returned to normal after they restarted their PS5.
The PS5 has a default feature that automatically goes into Rest Mode when the TV is turned off. You can disable this feature on the PS5.
If you need to keep it enabled, you can tap "Wake-up", wait about 10–15 seconds, and then tap "Connect" again.
