## Most critical reviews (7 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not accurate.

*2022-12-01, version 1.44*

Use 1800wxbrief.com or aviationweather.gov for accurate weather information.

### 2/5 — Great idea but not as useful as one would think

*2025-04-10, version 1.48*

The app takes a different approach to looking at the weather. Very innovative to look at weather along the route using time as a dimension. But the app has a few shortcomings. Using weather stations to predict the weather is only half the story. There are other weather products that can give you enroute and aloft weather, and not just rely on TAFs. route planning does not allow you to put in other navigational points like VOR stations.

Noticed a few bugs as well. The cross track distances are based on the direct route from origin to Destin nation. In the map view does not properly cycle through all of the departure times to refresh the station weather.

Overall good idea but I cannot recommend my students to use it because of the oversimplification of weather and some of the shortcomings.

### 4/5 — Good app could be great with a little bug squashing

*2025-03-04, version 1.48*

The app does a good job of helping one visualize how the weather is evolving over the forecast. However it does get old being prompted to accept the agreement and re-setup the aircraft setting often.

### 5/5 — Excellent for VFR flight planning

*2025-06-14, version 1.48*

No nonsense information. Exactly what you need to decide on a go-nogo for a VFR flight. The UX needs a bit of love but overall this app has been a massive help. If it wasn’t built already I’d build it :D

I do think iCloud syncing between devices would be a great help.

Update:
After a few xc flights, I wish I can rate above 5 stars. This app is AWESOME!
Please keep improving the UI. Functionality is superb and clearly shows very good insight into what a pilot really is looking for. No other app does this wx presented this well.
Please keep at it.

### 5/5 — Idea

It’s perfect app
But i live in Iran
And i supposed this application can’t support my country’s airport 🥺😞
If it’s possible please fix this problem 🥰

### 5/5 — This app is a beast!

*2021-01-01, version 1.0*

Wow, for a simplified flight planner, this app is AMAZING. The graphical overview of icing and turbulence is something I’ve not seen in full featured flight planners.

Being able to set personal minimums and seeing it graphically is unmatched by any flight planner I have tried. I could go on and on about the benefits of this app but no need to. There is a learning curve to discovering the gems described above and once you find it and getting it, the app probably will land on your home page.

It also has a pretty comprehensive setup page for both minimums and aircraft performance. To get the most of this app, you must take the time to set this up. Since I fly to LIFR minimums, in order for the charts generated to be accurate, you absolutely have to go through settings for your minimums or else the charts will be overly warning you of conditions that are actually above your minimum limits (I.E. 500 foot ceilings would be incorrectly flagged as a red square since I go down to ILS minimums)

This last paragraph mostly applies to pilots that fly in actual IMC or have high “no go” wind limits. The app is perfect for both IFR and VFR pilots.
