I was wrong and very happy with with this discovery. As someone that designs and installs home theaters and programs all types of remotes I was very happy with the layout and general design of this remote. It is an XBMC remote but could have been a universal remote. I like the fact that it isn't plastered with XBMC logos and green and black scheme colors. The design is very clean and everyone at my BBQ today was very impressed with the remote. I was impressed with the layout, color scheme, and most importantly the speed. I have XBMC commander and well, despite its looks, it's not the fastest touch remote on the block. Very twitchy. This remote is smooth. For users like me with large unraid arrays, or other media servers and over 2000 movies the speed is very impressive. Good job!!!! I will defiantly be recommending users of XBMC home theaters to this remote. Who ever you are listing to for features don't stop listening. You get directed to their Facebook page and I really don’t see any instructions so I messaged them. The last posting on FB was June 1. Today is December 6. Inactivity is a RED FLAG. No response yet but I hope they get back to me soon. Shame. Edit: Seems Trakt have updated and this app hasn't. Which makes promoting Trakt support by purchasing the £3.99 bundle a bit of a con right now! "We don't provide personal API keys anymore. If an app is requesting one, please reach out to the developer and request they update to the Trakt.tv 2.0 API. Tried to find my server and it didn't work so I tried to enter the information manually which also failed to connect. After that there was no way to go back and retry the settings (that I could find anyways). I’ve used many remotes for Plex and XBMC and was using it as a normal remote - but when I realised that it really is like the whole product in your hand it’s awesome... no more staring at the screen to decide what to watch; pass it around everyone to look while you choose the next thing to watch.. Only annoyance is that use a lot of plugins - and you get the full experience on the iPhone and iPad but when media starts to play for some reason it doesn’t register as playing - controls work but not the slider... Plus the YouTube integration has a user agent error so can’t login -‘maybe you guys should just Proxy the device browser useragent string to get it working? A fiver for phone and iPad - I spend more on a pint and I’m really glad the developers haven’t bought into a subscription model for their app - good work all round Curious if you could get local in app playback from xmbc via upnp for when I want to take my viewing to get snacks :) ### 5/5 — Works a treat on iOS 12.4.2 and 10.3.3 *2019-10-07, version 2.9.19* Although many network control apps I’ve used over the years have been a bit erratic, this app has been very stable for a number of years now, on an iPhone 6 running iOS 12.4.2 and several devices running earlier iOS versions (iPad 4 and iPhone 5 running iOS 10.3.3). Down-starring an app because of ignorance, lack of knowledge, or inability to ask for support is an abuse of the ability to review. It's scary to me. Peoples livelihoods can be changed by these reviews that are based off mis-truths. If anything, the directions could be clearer, but that does not mean that the app does not work. This is the BEST Kodi/XBMC remote I've ever used. Complete, plenty of options, ability to see your installed add-ons with buttons for each, beam YouTube videos directly to Kodi from the app, and more.. And that's the free version! There are countless features here that make it far and away my favorite remote. You'll see why yourself right away. I love this app, but it pains me that ignorance leads to bad reviews. Saying something "doesn't work" when you're not aware how similar apps work under normal circumstances is an injustice to the developer that put countless hours into creating these apps for our benefit.
