It's the vibe.

### 4/5 — The Australian Constitution

*2010-09-10, version 0*

I was so pleased to see this app on the iTunes Store. Future additions should also include both the Statute of Westminster Adoption Act (1942) - to include the Statute of Westminster itself - and the Australia Act 1986. Both these documents are constitutional in nature and provide a better appreciation of the totality of Australia's constitutional documents.

This app is even better now given that it contains the other documents I recommended above plus others that have relevancy to the overall constitutionality of Australia. Well done Ben!

### 5/5 — Constitution

A copy of Australia's Constitution on hand. A must for every Legal Studies student.

### 4/5 — Excellent

*2010-04-04, version 0*

Very useful app for Australian Law students. Cheers. Would love to see a little bit more navigation options though.

### 5/5 — patriotic and practicle

*2009-07-16, version 0*

I have been studying the constitution in my politics class this year and this may come in handy. Now wha would be great is some sort of summary of laws in Australia as an app. Keep up the great work.

### 5/5 — Thanks Ben: BUT

*2009-05-27, version 0*

This is an important and useful app for any law student.

However: it badly needs to be formatted with quick easy navigable links to it's contents.

For example to get to s 51 heads of power you have to scroll through the entire parliamentary powers chapter.

Very annoying and far from user friendly!!

However, having it is better than not having it at all, and for free is great also. Cheers Ben. I would definately pay a couple of $ for a more polished user friendly version.

### 5/5 — Great idea

*2009-03-17, version 0*

Every Aussie should at least read or try reading it once.

### 5/5 — Fantastic - the Constitution revealed

*2009-03-08, version 0*

Great idea Ben....this should be promoted in a high profile spot. I stumbled upon it at no.13 position in the Reference list. Maybe the Australian Government website could link to it? The universities certainly should. This application is succinct and easy to read ( as far as any Constitution can be ! ) Now i get the drift...

### 5/5 — fascinating

*2009-02-02, version 0*

this app should be compulsory for all pollies. they need the handbook! great app. good read.

### 5/5 — Terrible e-book ;)

Hey Ben, nice idea.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No search function

*2011-03-25, version 2.0*

Search function please....

### 1/5 — Waste of space

*2011-01-18, version 2.0*

This app is so bad it deserves no stars its a complete waste of tome what loser in there right mind would waste memory on there iPhone/pad/touch with this worthless app

### 1/5 — American's perspective.

*2009-01-23, version 0*

This can only be classified as a comedy, and only goes to prove that Americans are superior in every way, and that this is especially true of their ability to create policies. I read this Constitution and found it severly lacking and problematic in both structure and content. Furthermore, the only other reviewer must be an Australian national to have found this bloody document entertaining. A drunken money high on drugs could have written a better review. Furthermore it was not as funny as he thought it was, and he must be a horrible teacher at the college that I attend!

### 2/5 — Seems complete but lack of search function limits use

*2023-06-10, version 4.0*

I wanted to have a copy of the construction on hand for when I was not connected to the web. This app fills this need, but I am so used to searching PDF files or web pages, I found this app to be unusable as it lacks this feature- or perhaps I could not find it.

### 2/5 — The new version is much better!

*2014-01-18, version 2.0*

Thank you for taking on board the requests and intentions of the user base.

### 2/5 — Need better navigation

*2009-07-03, version 0*

I thank the author of this app for bringing it to us iPod/iPhone users but it definitely needs better navigation.
If something is worth doing, it is worth doing well.
Thanks again

### 2/5 — C'mon Aussies

*2009-01-10, version 0*

Even if the contents of the constitution are boring at least be patriotic. I wonder if the govenor general still only gets a yearly salary of ten thousand pounds??

### 3/5 — Search

*2017-08-06, version 3.0*

Couldn't find an option to search. Julia

### 3/5 — Good but needs search

*2010-08-24, version 0*

Navigation is simple and fast, but a text search would be very useful.

### 4/5 — Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1901

*2013-08-19, version 2.0*

A great program and a document that all Australian's should have an understanding of. The inclusion of the Australia Act 1986 let's this program down in terms of it's constitutional integrity as the Letters Patent 1984 and the Australia Act 1986 have sufficient impact on the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1901 that they should have been presented to the Australian people via referenda .... they were not and therefore are illegal in the context of the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act being the Supreme Law of Australia. If this App only contained those Acts which are permissible by the constitution it would be AWESOME !!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great

*2016-06-01, version 3.0*

It really helped me to finish my essay on government 5/5

### 5/5 — Really not much more you could want.

*2014-02-03, version 2.0*

This is an excellent App with a plethora of relevant additional information. Whilst it would be perfection if I could maximise the body text window into full screen, this is a small quibble and less of an issue on the iPad.

A digital edition like this one with quick links to specific situations has thus far been beyond even the Department of the Australian Government Solicitor. Several colleagues have proven incapable of resisting its charms (I reckon it was the letter's patent that did it)

Well done!!!

### 5/5 — HeyGummyBell

*2012-06-13, version 2.0*

Superb! A little old fashioned, but still does the job. Separation of powers function a bit inconvenient, but overall it keeps a nice federal balance. RL

### 5/5 — There IS an app for the Constitution!

*2011-12-26, version 2.0*

Wow, just simply wow. A leaf through the Reference category lead to here, an app that is actually interesting and provides insight into our laws.
Well done Mr. Kremer. Well done indeed.

### 5/5 — Great

*2011-12-22, version 2.0*

A fantastic app

### 5/5 — Very Useful App

*2011-09-21, version 2.0*

If you ever need info about the australian law Get This App

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2011-08-11, version 2.0*

Very useful. Greatly superior to the other constitution app I saw. No silly terms and a better icon.

### 5/5 — Cool

*2011-02-19, version 2.0*

This is the first time I have ever read or seen the Australian constitution. I am really glad I downloaded the app. I hope more Australian related references like this will be available for download in the future.

### 5/5 — More please

*2010-09-22, version 0*

All good but we need more state (QLD) legislation.

### 5/5 — Every Australian

*2010-06-06, version 0*

Should know this. ***** Stars
