The amount of time I have wasted in troubleshooting this app/program is now countless, wasted. I've never ever had to deal with such a slow program. It's terribly difficult to navigate in the field because the app is so damn slow even with immaculate cell service and Wi-Fi. I wish my company never bought into this. ### 4/5 — Getting Better *2024-07-03* App has a lot of great aspects and functionality. This app is much much better than 6 months to a year ago but is still a working progress. App still shows up errors when logging in every once in a while and the ease to edit/manipulate data still has some improvements that need to be made but overall this app is great for task and data management on a corporate level. ### 4/5 — Upgraded Version *2024-05-23* The new version of the app has increased the speed and efficiency with which our on site personnel can perform work. ### 4/5 — Great App *2024-05-23* CMiC has put their new app in a place that it can be worked on and continually upgraded. We have seen regular updates, and fixes to bugs as they have been discovered. CMiC is very responsive to comments, bug reports etc... Thanks for the Review :) ### 3/5 — Unstable *2024-02-28* App has a lot of great aspects and functionality but is consistently unstable. Various errors show up, bad oracle request, or just simply get kicked out and have to re login. I constantly get told to either delete and reinstall the app or make sure it is up to date. A good app shouldn’t have to be deleted and reinstalled all the time to work. Daily journals, for example, won’t let you attach photos without first doing something from your computer that makes no sense. If you try and take a Live Photo, it crashes. I cannot rate this product low enough. It is the single worst attempt at project management software I have ever encountered. **Developer response:** Hello, we are sorry to hear that your experience with our app wasn't positive. Our app does not require you to do anything on your computer before uploading photos from our app. We also support uploading Live Photos. I like that its robust and has offline capabilities ### 1/5 — Plans don’t update *2023-09-22* Multiple time I have gone in to make sure the plans subcontractors are seeing are the most up to date plans and the plans shown are weeks or months old. The only fix is deleting the app and redownload it. There are many complaints with this app but this issue has serious consequences beyond inconvenience. This needs to be fixed. Update Still seems to be having issues with showing correct drawing. Mine will show an old and new sheet side by side. It is also having trouble hyperlinking drawings. Before you contact IT just delete the app and redownload it. It seems like that usually fixes the issue even if it’s very inconvenient. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Construction Man *2026-06-30* Simply don’t waste your time and money and get Procore. One of it commendable aspects is the commitment to regular updates and fixes. Field users have generally found the app easier to use compared to some alternatives, especially when it comes to performing daily task and accessing necessary information on site. The overall experiences positive and it gets the job done effectively. ### 5/5 — Best construction software on the market *2024-06-04* I’ve been using CMiC for about 10 years. Accounting/job costing integration is difficult but critical to our success in this industry; CMiC is the only software provider that actually does it right. They long needed a field tool like this to compliment the rest of their software. Construct PM is proof CMiC is dedicated to the construction industry and dedicated to continuously improving their product. The app does everything my teams need in the field… access drawings, create markups/as builts/RFI’s easily, communicate and document effectively, submit time sheets, simple to use, etc. CMiC has all the tools needed to successfully manage a project. They have built the app from ground to work with there desktop application which is now transferring to match the mobile application. They take user feedback and are improving and adding new features every release. The drawings application is on par with ACC and Procore.
