And stable *2013-10-22, version 2.3.5* I have been using My Pie Interactive's Carpenters Helper but it crashes enough to make me a look for an alternate - this app right here. It adds metric and imperial lengths together, very useful for Canadian users who work with metric codes and imperial lumber! However, i'm not totally sure it was worth the 3 bucks i paid for it. I do have one suggestion though, and hope they might be added in the next update. It would be helpful to be able enter, say 5'-3" and press convert to inches. Working at an architectural firm, we usually work in feet and inches, but often work with other disciplines that use just inches. What would even be more helpful, would be able to turn the decimal display into an inches display. That way you wouldn't have to covert. Both types would display at the same time. More recently that problem has been addressed. Now I can use the app and be very productive.
