### 2.4.0 — 2026-06-27

• Item Groups: Organize your planned and purchased items into custom groups. Each group shows a progress card. Assign items with a long press from your purchase history, or pick them straight from the Add Item form.

• Wishlist Tracking: Adding a planned item now automatically records your impulse to buy it. When you purchase or renounce it, the record resolves itself.

• Price Alerts: Five bugs in the price alert system have been fixed. Baseline prices are now tracked more accurately and can no longer be set with an unknown currency.

• Spending Tab: Six logic bugs in the Dashboard Spending analytics are fixed. Sold items are now correctly excluded from chart totals to match the displayed budget figure.

• Price Alert Quiet Hours — Price drop notifications now respect your quiet hours (10 PM – 8 AM). Nightly price checks no longer wake you up.

• Invoice Backup — Scanned invoice and receipt pages are now included when you export your data. Restoring a backup brings your documents back too.

• Accessibility — Price history now works fully with VoiceOver: the comparison row announces snapshot count and expand/collapse state; trend badges speak "Price down 12%" instead of raw icon names.

• Price Alerts Redesigned — Set a pinned baseline price, tiered alert thresholds, and a target price. Consumii now tracks the historical low and notifies you when the price hits your goal.

• Price History — A full snapshot timeline of how an item's price has changed over time is now available right in the item detail view.

• Notification Fixes — Resolved 6 notification issues: duplicate notification flood, Snooze not working, price drop alerts firing for the wrong item, and weekly summaries ignoring your preferred send time.

• Share Extension — Fixed a crash on iOS 26 when the Share Extension tried to open the app.

• Restore from Backup — the Data Export section is now "Export & Import Data". Tap it to restore expenses and impulse records from a previously exported JSON backup. Items that already exist are skipped automatically, so restoring is always safe to retry.
• Smarter data wipe — "Delete All My Data" now removes everything from both your device and iCloud in one step. No toggle needed.
• Stats refresh after iCloud sync — spending totals and widgets now update correctly after a CloudKit sync completes, instead of showing stale numbers until you restarted the app.
• Bug fixes: renounced, sold, and disposed items no longer show an "Add Receipt?" prompt; challenges no longer reappear after a full data wipe; product URLs are now included in JSON exports and correctly restored on import.

• Price History — items with a product URL now track price changes over time. Tap "Check Price" anytime to see if the price went up or down since you added it.

• Smarter Task Suggestions — task chips are now category-aware. Electronics get Idealo and Geizhals comparison links; travel items get booking-site checks; and more.
• Reality Check — a one-tap task to see if you already own or are tracking something similar before adding another item.
• Spotlight Privacy — a new setting to exclude your Consumii items from iOS Spotlight search.
• Bug fixes: Want/Need rating no longer overwritten by the desire slider; purchase thoughts now save reliably; financing figures update correctly after editing an item's price.
