My ipad copy has no means, that i know of, of protecting your data. Switched some back when I brought it to their attention. This app, allegedly designed to “organize” and “update” your address book, has instead obliterated years’ worth of carefully built professional relationships. It indiscriminately merged contacts with similar names, corrupting entire profiles and erasing crucial distinctions between colleagues, clients, and friends. Countless phone numbers and email addresses—some irreplaceable—have simply vanished. Even worse, it has randomly deleted data with no warning and no pattern, like a digital black hole consuming the very history I entrusted it to safeguard. The damage is irreversible, and the frustration incalculable. To add insult to injury, their customer service has been absolutely useless. Beyond generic replies and vague promises, they’ve provided no real solutions—just delay and deflection. This app hasn’t improved my workflow; it’s wrecked it. A total disaster. ### 1/5 — Mac Version not ready *2025-02-25, version 24.7.0* I wanted a trial version to see it could help me manage multiple accounts including apple, google, a personal Microsoft account, and a business one. Woudn’t let me trial because I had 1000+ contacts, so I tried out a month subscription. Doesn’t work on Mac. So I tried it on my Ipad. Doesn’t load up a business Microsoft account. So I cancelled, but now I’m stuck with a month chart. Very disappointed. ### 3/5 — Great App, but Crashes a lot *2024-12-30, version 24.7.0* I love the categorisation of this app. How you can add labels to contacts and organise & search through contacts easily. Adding custom fields is a nice function as well as moving fields up and down individual contacts. Only reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because it crashes quite frequently. Also, it doesn’t load all the fields sometimes (whether because it needs to be connected to a WiFi or something else, it’s annoying). ### 1/5 — The price is insane *2024-10-18, version 24.7.0* 120$ a year for contacts app?!! What you you think people do with their contacts to be willing to be ripped off 👀 ### 1/5 — Erased Hundreds of Phone Numbers *2024-10-06, version 24.7.0* I’m bitterly disappointed in this app, especially since so many users rate it so highly. I consolidated 3 lists totaling nearly 3,000 contacts. Instead, the app simply erased hundreds of contacts either completely or leaving a name without phone numbers. If I were a beginner, I would suspect myself of incorrect settings, but I’ve been using nearly every Apple product since 1985. I lost far more than a yearly subscription with Contacts+, and now I wonder how many reviews might have been bought. ### 1/5 — Price *2024-07-21, version 24.7.0* These apps are more expensive than lightroom and Photoshop for mac/windows with premium versions for iPhone/iPad with a 200 GB plan. The iOS version presents updates with LinkedIn references that cannot be verified as presented. On the web, the suggested updates are clickable and can be validated whereas on iOS, I have to manually form a URL to see if the recommend LinkedIn profile is a match. I’ve put Cardhop, contacts+, iCloud and busycontacts (no iOS version) on my laptop and find contacts+ does not keep up with changes in real time with the others. I’ve even done updates in Contacts+ iOS that do not show on contacts+ web. Contacts+ also does not support maiden names as the others do. I regularly email the tech support team for suggestions on how to improve the user experience and simple features that would make it a 5-star product. Unfortunately that’s where Contacts+ comes up short. They response is always the same — a pre formatted email saying they will pass on the idea to tech team. Either the tech team doesn’t exist or never gets it. Sad. Instead, the app failed to sync my address book (over 4000 contacts), didn’t import updated data, and even replaced my current contacts with outdated ones — without warning. I tried reconnecting accounts, resetting sync settings, and even reinstalling, but nothing worked. I canceled my subscription within the first week. If you have a large or critical contact list, this app is not reliable. Transcription by a real person is way more accurate than OCR card scanners, especially when people seem to insist on using light print on dark color cards with font so small you can hardly see it with a magnifying glass. Support très rapide et efficace. ### 5/5 — 18 Months Contacts+ experience *2020-04-03* I use the iPhone app, browser interface, and MAC app to maintain a list of about 500 contacts all in an association. I use several custom Field names and the google sheets integration. This app excelled at maintaining the list of contact separate from my Phone’s native list. I don’t want the two lists to mix so this is perfect. I also use it for my personal contacts in two separate accounts. The only time I had any issue support was very quick to respond and tipped me off to a potential cause.
