## What is Contemplatio?

Contemplatio is a pause to be with God. Each day it suggests what to pray and walks with you step by step.

LECTIO DIVINA
The daily Mass readings, following the liturgical calendar of the United States, in the five steps of lectio divina: lectio, meditatio, oratio, contemplatio and actio. With a text from the Fathers of the Church to meditate on, questions to examine yourself, the colloquy, an imaginative contemplation of the Gospel and one concrete action for today. Scripture is from the World English Bible, Catholic Edition.

THE HOLY ROSARY
Today's mysteries, each with its Gospel passage, a classical painting and a short text from a saint or spiritual master.

BEING WITH HIM
A written colloquy: start from a good memory, ask the Lord where he was in it, and bring him what weighs on you today. If you prefer to write by hand, create the day's sheet as a PDF for Goodnotes or Notability.

EXAMINATION OF CONSCIENCE
St. Ignatius's five points and your particular examen, with its record.

ALSO
- Every text is inside the app: you can pray offline.
- A prayer timer: choose the minutes and a bell rings at the end.
- A daily reminder at the time you choose.
- Paintings and mosaics open full screen, to contemplate them.
- Larger type with one tap, and a light, dark or automatic display.
- In English and Spanish: it follows your phone's language, and you can change it in Settings.

Every quotation carries its author and its work, and its source has been verified.

Contemplatio is free, with no ads and no accounts. What you write stays on your phone.
