## What is content?

Content is a podcast player you buy once. Every feature is simply in the app — no monthly fee, no premium tier, nothing held back for an upgrade.

OFFLINE READY
The newest episode of every show you follow arrives over Wi-Fi in the background, without you asking. Board a plane having prepared nothing, open the app, press play.

CHRONOLOGICAL
Episodes arrive in the order they were published. No ranking, no boosting, no "shows you might like."

SPONSORED SEGMENTS
As an episode arrives, your phone transcribes it and reads that transcript with a model trained on hundreds of real episodes, marking the segments where a host reads sponsor copy. Those segments are drawn onto the scrubber so you can see one coming, and a single control moves you past one — it says how long the segment runs and jumps exactly that far. All of it happens on your device; nothing is uploaded.

Detection is good, not perfect. Segments a publisher's server stitched in are usually found exactly; sponsor copy a host reads aloud mid-show is the hard case, and there it lands close rather than exact. The control is always there and always does something sensible, and every time you use it, it learns.

SEARCH INSIDE EPISODES
Search transcripts as well as titles and show notes, and a result plays from the moment those words were said.

EVERYWHERE YOU LISTEN
iPhone, iPad and CarPlay, with the lock screen and AirPods controls you would expect. The skip button on the lock screen knows about sponsored segments too.

BRING YOUR LIBRARY
Import an OPML file from any other podcast app, and export one whenever you like. Private and subscriber-only feeds work by pasting the address.

NO ACCOUNTS
There is nothing to sign up for. Your subscriptions and positions sync between your own devices through your private iCloud, and are never visible to anyone else. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-28

Playlists.

Make as many lists as you like — one for the commute, one for the weekend, one
for the long flight. Each list decides for itself whether it stays downloaded,
because only you know where you'll be listening and whether you'll have signal.

Adding is one tap. Choose a list once and the button keeps pointing at it, and
tells you where each episode went so you can put it back if it was the wrong one.

Also in this release:

• Fixed a crash that could happen when the app was reopened in the background
  after finishing a download.
• The app no longer leaves temporary files behind. These could quietly grow to
  several gigabytes.
• An episode you queued is no longer removed when a newer one arrives, and is
now downloaded rather than only protected.
• Bigger, easier targets for the queue and download buttons on each row.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-08-24
