When it does this you have to just hit return to home and guide it back in by sight. It also won’t save whatever video it was recording. The app is unusable for most of the features because of freezes and other issues. PLEASE update and fix the app. It’s a good drone but the app is utter garbage. ### 3/5 — Bad translations, works okay *2020-04-10, version 1.1.9* This app is the only control app for the Contixo drone, so there is no other option. But it still is pretty bad. There are a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes, some of them make it hard to understand what is being said. Many settings and buttons are unexplained and confusing. The guide to using the drone doesn’t fit in the screen well and snaps to the next page as soon as it is slightly scrolled. The app seems more tuned for the F22, but I have the F24 and using it is a pain as almost all things are specific to the F22 and not the F24 even if the right option is used. This app would do better with a lot of fixes. But it is do able. I’m confused to why these changes were left alone. I cannot even connect the drone to the app even with the drone Wi-Fi connected. The app versions have been updated for older iPhones but we’re never updated for newer iPhones. Then - it all went downhill! Emailing back and forth with tech support - they confirmed that the drone won’t work with newer IPhones- with updated operating systems- and there’s no solution coming any time soon as Far as they know since the company’s manufacturing is in China. Basically we can still use the included remote to fly the drone but the functionality associated with the app - won’t work … no photos, videos, gps, follow me etc - won’t work! Nothing like owning a newer drone which became obsolete within 1.5 years! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — The Little Snooper *2023-04-15, version 1.2.2* I’ve had the f24 for many years and still use it,If you set the gps before trying to fly it does great. From the reviews I read I think a lot of people don’t do that and they have problems. If it’s set up properly it does fine, I do find I that I have to delete the app from time to time to get it to work right, don’t know what’s up with that. But I like the drone, it’s pretty easy to fly even for me a 66 year old that’s not too good with technology.
