You just identified a new bug in how Contour reads GPS when the app is in your pocket or your screen is locked. iOS holds those location updates and delivers them in a burst when you pull your phone back out, and Contour was misreading that burst as impossible speed — so it wiped your trail and then blamed you for driving. You did nothing wrong. Walking, skating, and biking are all well inside what the app is built to allow. There is a speed limit but all of those should be acceptable. We've found the cause and the fix is in the next update. Losing two miles right at the end is infuriating, and I'm sorry.
