In the mountains, while guiding, tools that do what they say they do are rate. This is one of them. The developer is super reactive and adds features when I realize they are necessary.

Fast app, no annoying or distracting ads, excellent maps, reliable tracking. Very easy integration of local avalanche reports. Quick response from the developer. Better than Komoot or Outdooractive for ski/snowboard touring!  Fairly Priced.

After paying for my lifetime membership it appears the app no longer recognises my account and is rendered useless. No maps no nothing. Just about to head off to the Alps and it left me high and dry.

Edit: As a side note I’ve found the server provider for Contours was down for a small amount of time 2 days ago, which may have affected your sign in. Try signing in again and hopefully this resolves your issue, else please contact us and we will fix this for you.

Post FatMap I started using this to help primarily with winter route planning. Really in depth product with multiple mapping overlays.

Winter, summer and satellite as well as 3D map views.

The Contou.rs app is essential for ski touring and backcountry planning. The map features are outstanding: 3D terrain views, vital slope angle layers, and robust offline map downloads. It gives you the critical information needed to plan safe and exciting routes. A huge upgrade for anyone serious about the mountains!

Strava a fait de nous des orphelins depuis la mise à mort de fatmap.
Contours prend la relève et propose une app claire et lisible et surtout qui reprends toutes les qualités de FM.

Tout n’est pas encore parfait et quelques finitions sont attendues dans les semaine à venir, mais c’est déjà assez satisfaisant pour les soutenir pleinement et devenir un membre fondateur. 

La team : ne lâchez rien et continuez dans cette voie, un avenir radieux vous attend !!
