Birth is natural, beautiful process and women shouldn’t be rating their experiences with various sad faces. The app is simple, easy to use and attractive. Valuable to use during labor. ### 3/5 — Hospital reminders *2017-06-22* I'm a midwife, and I've been using this app to time contractions at homebirths for years, while I appreciate the option for the app to tell the user when to go to the hospital I don't like the update doesn't allow you to turn it off and the reminders come after each contraction. I'd like the option to not use that feature returned to the app. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! As of the latest release (version 4.0.3) you can now control whether or not the Hospital Alert automatically appears. ### 4/5 — Great needs a feature *2015-08-09* Great and easy for what it does. Needs a delete all on the history screen. For intermittent tracking it's a nuisance to delete each entry one by one compare to how simple and easy to use the rest of the app is. ### 3/5 — Great App *2013-09-10, version 3.0.2* Easy to use app and gave us just the information we need to get to the hospital on time. Would have like to be able to manually add in contractions for time spent away from phone such as when I was resting/showering. It lets you delete an entry but not for example change the length (eg if the contraction was 40 seconds and you forget to hit stop, and it records 3 min, your only option is to keep it or delete it which either way messes up your average) ### 2/5 — Hate update *2012-02-21, version 2.0.3* I used this and loved it with my last pregnancy. Been using it with this pregnancy and it's kinda confusing compared to the old one. Go back to the simple version. Don't fix what's not broken!!! ### 2/5 — Auto Facebooking Lameness *2011-05-03, version 2.0* Handy for keeping track of contractions, averaging time and intensity etc., but the CONSTANT badgering to post all of this information to Facebook, without a working disable option, makes this application more aggravating than helpful. You will have to wade through multiple "Cancels" just to get back to the "Contraction Start" screen. Lame. ### 2/5 — Not what I expected *2011-01-10, version 0* Drains battery, not as clever as I anticipated, having used the free online version. Needs a few extra features like deleting erroneous taps, graphing etc. We abandoned using it durng the labour - more hassle than it was worth! Plenty of free ones out there which do an equally average job. ### 3/5 — Simple but effective *2010-12-21, version 1.3.5* By using this I was able to time my wifes contractions as she went onto labour. By checking history I was able to ascertain when she went onto established labour and get her into hospital asap after reading timings to midwife. Simple to use at a very stressful time and gave us something to focus on. But obviously requires some common sense and calls to midwife. ### 2/5 — Runs in background but... *2010-10-17* It runs in the background, but actually ends up pausing the time until you return focus. Also resets the timer if you switch between the timer and history. ### 1/5 — Poor overall implementation *2010-09-17, version 0* Had this app 17 months. Buggy display of data. No significant updates in that time . Clunky interface. I downloaded 'babys coming' fee app just now and that works and looks loads better. Now I'm looking for a replacement app when I expected to relax between contractions. Just an FYI for anyone thinking any app will be flawless when you need it. Not just once but after every contraction. Saying no took a few clicks. Easy to use and no ads. ### 5/5 — BEST way to track contractions *2015-05-10* This app is worth a lot more than $1.99. I changed the setting on my phone to not lock, and used this app frequently during the last two days of my pregnancy and labor. Also the perfect thing to use while in labor, but not hooked up to monitoring. All the features are absolutely wonderful, and better than anything else I attempted to use on a free contraction timing app. Plus I could email the report to my midwife and myself. Sad to delete the app now that baby is here. I never delete apps I love, though clearly I don't need this one any longer. ### 5/5 — Thank God for this app! *2013-01-10, version 3.0.2* Great app! I was stressing about not knowing how to time my contractions and stumbled across this! Thank god I did...with a very quick labour I made it to the hospital in the nick of time because of this app! The app is very well done and has just the right amount of features. Not enough to get lost, just enough to review anything that happened. Very well designed. If I could pay for it again (a few times) I would :-) It's more than worth the 2$. Thanks a lot to Bill Snebold Design! I just checked the other reviews. 1) the Facebook badgering seems to be gone. I didn't even realize we could post to FB. 2) you can also delete single events if you mis-clicked the start button. Just the usual pattern: swipe sideways on an event and confirm by clicking the "delete" button that appears. You can even edit a single event, if you didn't start it on time. ### 5/5 — Excellent app! *2010-12-13, version 1.3.5* "honey! You're 3 minutes apart and lasting 45 seconds at a time!" it's how we knew it was time to go to the hospital (our daughter was born the same day... December 10th, 2010). We were able to show to midwives upon arrival at hospital which they found very useful to ascertain how far along she was.
