### 4/5 — Just pay the $5 for the week

*2026-07-13, version 2.8.6*

I ended up paying for the subscription, it was worth it. With the included meditation videos and the ease of start stop, it is a user friendly app. I was getting frustrated when it would lag when I pressed start or stop, but I think mid contraction anything will frustrate you.

### 2/5 — Literally had it for two minutes

*2026-06-07, version 2.8.5*

Im gonna be honest, i couldnt use the app. 1, im past my due date and it wouldnt let me put my due date earlier than todays date which was lowkey upsetting. 2, why on earth would i pay a subscription for something im rarely gonna use thats crazy. Im sure its a great app, but definitely not for people who need quick access to a timer and doesnt have the disposable income to pay a subscription for an app that is literally just supposed to time your contractions.

### 2/5 — Not great

*2026-05-24, version 2.8.4*

Can barely read the color of the text on the app. Let me track contractions then every time I pressed the go for another contraction kept asking me to pay.

### 2/5 — Subscription based Pay wall!?!

*2026-05-17, version 2.8.4*

I find it really frustrating that for a medical app you would keep the most essential feature (contraction timer) behind a pay wall. I could understand the other features like tracking or even helpful tips. Furthermore, making it subscription based rather than a one time fee is so greedy. Any mother trying to prep for birth is penalized for starting early and likely to forget about cancelling the subscription after birth. I was looking forward to using this app but not going to feed your greed.

### 1/5 — Trying to make me pay mid contraction!

*2026-05-07, version 2.8.4*

Don’t get it unless you want to spend the money. I was looking for a free app and this one came up. But during my labor it literally didn’t let me record my contractions and instead forced me to purchase a subscription with them. It’s getting out of hand. This is not the time. If you must charge do so at the time of downloading

### 2/5 — Bad intro

*2026-05-03, version 2.8.4*

Begging for a rating before even letting you use the app. Talking about using their plan so I assume it’s going to try to charge me for timing contractions. Will change my review if it looks better as I run through it but will probably uninstall and try a different app instead. Make sure you check it out properly before the big day

### 1/5 — Update wiped my history

*2026-04-27, version 2.8.4*

I’m so upset! I wanted to see the history of my contractions from labor with my 2nd baby. The new update completely wiped my data. I was saving it to go back to as a memory so I could write everything down. All I have is one screenshot from when I decided to go into the hospital. 🥺

### 1/5 — Seriously…

*2026-04-26, version 2.8.4*

I was actively using this to time contractions and then I hit start timer for contraction number 7 or 8 and the app prompted me to pay money. Seriously. Don’t let me use the timing feature at all if you then tell me to pay money after I’ve been relying on it to time contractions. If I’m trying to time contractions, I’m not really looking to read about your dumb subscription service right now. Absolutely ridiculous.

### 2/5 — Time edit is hard to use

*2026-03-30, version 2.8.3*

The editing interface is quite confusing. Not sure if that’s caused by bugs or not.

### 1/5 — Can’t edit duration

*2026-03-26, version 2.8.3*

I can edit Started at and Ended at times in hours and minutes but I can’t edit the Duration. There are times when I need to log the contraction AFTER it happens but I can’t make an accurate record because I can’t edit the Duration.

### 1/5 — No compatible with Apple Watch

*2026-03-07, version 2.8.1*

Not compatible with Apple watch even though it shows in the pictures like you can use your watch. Downloaded app on phone and purchased to use, my Apple Watch is saying “full features in iPhone app”.
I was fully expecting to be able to use my watch, very disappointed

### 1/5 — Takes advantage of women in their most vulnerable state

*2026-03-07, version 2.8.1*

I can’t imagine anything worse than going into early labour and an hour into your contractions as you try to time them again you’re prompted to make in-app purchases and it stops allowing you to capture further timing data. Definitely would not recommend.

### 1/5 — Only 6 for free!

*2026-02-20, version 2.8.0*

It only lets your track 6 contractions for free…. Not great don’t want to be paying to track my contractions.

### 2/5 — Critical bug makes app less useful

*2026-02-15*

There is a bug when editing a contraction. Let’s assume I forgot to track one at 10:55 and want to add it past 11:00, than it’s impossible to set the correct end time. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. Such bad software quality is not justified when I even pay for it!

### 1/5 — Hidden Behind a Paywall

*2026-02-11, version 2.7.0*

You have to pay after only counting your contractions 6 times. $2.89 USD a week is crazy for an app you’re only going to be using for a short while. Not worth it. There are other FREE apps that offer the same or better service.

### 1/5 — Small timer

*2026-02-10, version 2.7.0*

The timer was tiny on screen . Haven’t used as who wants to be holding a phone while in labour . Not as advertised. Should be big so can see from afar

### 1/5 — Have to buy a subscription

*2026-02-05, version 2.7.0*

I think it’s crazy to me that you have to buy a subscription for everything now a days! Like I’m in pain going through contractions and you want to ask me to sign up for a subscription! Your joking! Trash!!!!!

### 2/5 — New update wiped away my history

*2026-02-04, version 2.7.0*

Pretty sad. This app updated after I had my daughter 6 months ago and I never got to take screen shots of my contractions with her or my son. I used to be able to scroll down and see my previous contractions from May 2024 which I found so helpful when I was in labor in July 2025. Now the apps had a total refresh and everything wiped. Really sad something so simple but yet so special remembering the times and how far apart and the times I went into labor all gone💔 I liked how simple the previous design was huge reason I used this over other options with both my children. My history on the app was important to me very sad…

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-02-02, version 2.7.0*

Not clear that you have to pay to use this app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Pay to use

*2026-08-13, version 2.8.6*

You literally only get 6 contractions free. Imagine being in labor but it’s 2.99 to continue. No thanks. Motherhood is already expensive.

### 1/5 — Not sure if it’s good yet

*2026-07-20, version 2.8.6*

Cannot access app to look around without leaving a review

### 1/5 — Pay to use

*2026-07-18, version 2.8.6*

You get 6 free contractions per day and if you want to time more, you have to pay. Pretty sure it’s not 6 contractions and baby is out. Disappointing that the main reason to get that app requires payment to get full use

### 1/5 — Loved until I didn’t

*2026-07-13, version 2.8.6*

I was literally in labor and this app had the nerve to cut off the contraction timer unless I paid for the app…MID-CONTRACTION!!

### 1/5 — Forcing a subscription mid tracking

*2026-07-13, version 2.8.6*

How absolutely disgusting and greedy to wait until multiple contractions have been tracked, to then force a yearly or weekly subscription in order to keep using the app. Deleting. I’d rather just track in my notes this is so insane.

### 1/5 — 6 contraction limit

*2026-07-07, version 2.8.6*

I can’t imagine anything worse than during the labor the app is limited by 6 contractions only and asks to pay for the next contractions. During the labor! For the timer!
Totally disappointed with their marketing strategy.

### 1/5 — 6 contractions

*2026-06-22, version 2.8.6*

My wife is having contractions so I downloaded this app. I can only time 6 contractions before I have to pay for subscription. You greedy parasites.

### 1/5 — 6 free then u pay

*2026-06-06, version 2.8.5*

You only get to track 6 contractions before it makes you pay weekly. Sad.

### 1/5 — Way to buggy

*2026-05-21, version 2.8.4*

Waste of time- paid for premium but it kept blocking me from recording contractions by asking me to upgrade my account. Unable to amend start / end times of co tractions.

### 1/5 — Way too much money!!

*2026-05-10, version 2.8.4*

2.99 a week or $30 for the year??? So can I cancel my subscription if I do the 2.99 a week when I no longer need it or does it continue to bill me for the whole year?? I don’t see why you are trying to take advantage of moms at their most vulnerable time. Honestly disgusting and disappointing. “For moms”? You mean for money.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-05-16, version 2.8.4*

Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Very useful in high stress situation

*2026-01-19, version 2.5.2*

I gave birth two years ago. I clearly remember starting to feel the contractions, and I immediately open the app which I had already downloaded. It helped me stay calm throughout the initial contractions. And also helped my husband not feel the pressure of counting the minutes. I wanted to wait until they were the necessary time apart before heading to the hospital. So this app was tremendous help for me once they were a minute apart I headed to the hospital and was right on time to be admitted. I kept the app to remember how it felt. However, I just updated it today and it deleted all my previous data. So I will be deleting it now sadly.

### 5/5 — Going 3 pregnancies strong!

*2025-09-03, version 2.4.0*

This contortion timer is the best one out there for free. I’ve tried others but stuck to this one for my past 3 pregnancies. Other free apps don’t allow you to edit the contractions afterwords, so if you’re experiencing a strong one and can’t get to the phone right away, your calculations will be thrown off. Sometimes it does glitch out when you try to edit a contraction or the time counting is inaccurate until you stop it, but exiting and reopening the app does the trick. Only thing missing from this app is a dark mode. Also a widget would be nice to be able to use the watch or right form thr phone’s home screen! Thank you!! 😊

### 5/5 — Does what it says in the tin

*2025-07-28, version 2.3.7*

Simple and straightforward, no frills, performed very well the day of delivery :)

### 5/5 — Very simple to use

*2025-06-27, version 2.3.5*

### 5/5 — Better Than The Rest

*2025-06-27, version 2.3.5*

### 5/5 — Simply perfect

*2025-06-21, version 2.3.3*

it was perfectly simple and intuitive, captured and presented data so simply and clearly I would recommend it to anyone going through early labor and not wanting to do any mental math or using a clock/watch. it was perfect.
