It is much better than the alternative free softwares. My only concern is that in the App Store, under purchases, it states that there is a paid option for yearly professional for one user at $169.99. It's designed for both the guys in the field that need to input things from the van, and for the guy behind the desk does everything behind the scenes. I've completed a couple of contracts. The app is not as user-friendly or easy as maybe Joist, but it is a decent app for the free version. Many of the cool stuff that I was hoping to see requires payment. Adding materials and listing products, I found to be a little difficult . Overall, it's a good free app ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Sales over service *2026-07-04* I’ve been using Contractor+ for about three years. Any issues were always resolved up until recently, when prices were raised by about double. The focus has now shifted to sales from service. The service was the main differentiator between other competitors. I found this out when I was upgraded to a “trial” and lost all of the features I’ve been using and am now not able to get back my old account status. My website has been down for over two weeks with no response from them so I had to redirect my web address so that it doesn’t look like I’m out of business. At the same time they sent me a bad card reader, charged me sent me a new one and are now attempting to charge me for another that they sent as a replacement. It is truly unfortunate because I like the platform but I can start to see where this company is heading. **Developer response:** Thanks so much for the feedback and kind words! Keep an eye out for improvements in our future updates! ### 1/5 — Serious Bugs, Data Issues, and Poor Reliability — Not Ready for Real Businesses *2026-03-05* I really wanted to like Contractor+, but after trying to use it for actual business operations, it became clear the platform isn’t reliable enough. The biggest issue is the number of bugs. The app frequently glitches, features don’t work consistently, and basic actions sometimes fail or behave unpredictably. When you’re running a business and dealing with clients, invoices, and scheduling, you can’t afford software that feels unstable. Another major concern is data management. Exporting client information and accessing your own data isn’t as straightforward as it should be, which is a serious problem if you ever decide to move to another platform. The concept of the software is good, but the execution isn’t there yet. Until the bugs are fixed and the platform becomes more stable, I would strongly recommend contractors stick with their existing systems before paying for this service. Before this change I could do as many as I needed to do. Huge inconvenience. The most expensive one but contractor specific. From the start absolute clown shoes. There’s honestly too much to complain about from user/customer experience to the constant text and emails. I tried to stick it out because I had loaded so much data. Now I’m trying to downgrade to the free version and it literally won’t let me. Tried the customer support, only Ai would answer and after basically begging to downgrade me so I can finish a revision on an estimate it said it would be back tomorrow.
