Everything feels thoughtful, intuitive, and complete—it really helps you understand and take control of your finances in a clear way. What stood out the most to me is the developer behind it. I shared a few suggestions with Alex, and he responded incredibly fast—some features were actually implemented within hours. I’ve been trying for the past 30 minutes to add an income entry and I cannot for the life of me find the feature. Every time I add an entry it’s systematically an expense. No option for income. Aside from that there are a couple of bugs here and there. The “Control Hub” is not fully Light Mode when choosing light appearance. The AI is useless. And the app is behind a paywall. So hourly rate and shift times don’t really matter much. It becomes a bit confusing. **Developer response:** Hi, the Work logging is for people who work in shifts and with hourly rate. The UI is beautiful clean and feels very futuristic compared to other expense apps I've tried. It has almost everything I need and using it daily has been a great experience so far. I really hope the developer continues to add more features over time. One thing I'd love to see is support for multiple devices, especially iPad and Mac, with seamless syncing across all devices. The Mac version could arrive later this year ### 5/5 — Best app *2026-07-17* I feel this app is truly exceptional; I really like it—the interface is amazing and it runs smoothly. However, if two things were improved, it would be even better. First, it is free for only 48 hours, after which you have to pay 1,200 rupees to purchase it; I didn’t like that, and I uninstalled it for this very reason. Second, there should be a ‘carry-forward’ option so that any remaining balance from the previous month gets added to the next month. Please release a free version of this app as well. **Developer response:** Hi, there is a carry forward option in the Budgets page. Free version of the app doesn’t support development. ### 5/5 — Great budgeting app, great price! *2026-06-18* I’ve tried many budgeting apps, the big ones (YNAB, Monarch) and smaller ones (Budgetly), but Control is by far my favorite to use. The UI is clean and the app is simple to use. It doesn’t have as many features as other apps, maybe, but the dev is making updates frequently and he’s very responsive when given feedback.
