If this product was meant to replace the old Control Pad, at least put some effort into it. First of all, the old Control Pad is gone from the App Store, and its current functionality is in decline. The new Control Pad does not connect with X-plane 11, and for the most part, X-plane 12. I run a small nonprofit that teaches 5th-8th students how to fly using static and full motion flight simulators. We depend on the functionality of your product to run our aviation program. Please contact us if you would like to collaborate on a fix for these issues.

Crashes right after I click start. Worked great a month ago. Really great app and addition to Xplane 12. Just wish this issue was fixed.

**Developer response:** Sorry to suggest the obvious or cheap solution buuuuut.. have you tried deleting and re-installing the app, and restarting the pad, just to clear out any corrupted preferences or RAM? The App does seem to be working for myself and others now...

I don’t know why a lot of people are having problems with the app, but this app is great. Keep it up, the only thing I wish this app would have better is that when you drag on the map it automatically sometimes drags the plane that you’re flying to another location, which is a little bit annoying when you’re doing a very long flight and then all of a sudden a map changes and you’ve been flying for such a long timeand respond

Austin and his team were very communicative with me during the redesign of ControlPad for XPlane 12.  I reached out several months ago and his team stayed in contact with me until it was released; I’m now running it on a pretty old iPad (6th generation) and connected it to XP12 running on an old Dell Optiplex i7 and the app commands flight failures and environment changes virtually immediately with no crashing.  Was worth the wait for redevelopment.

Great just needs to be reprogrammed with compatibility with m1 and m2 macs
