I have played many word games, and this one is, by far, the most frustrating and plain, flat out hard.
Seriously, the words that appear here are really difficult. Really, seriously, no baloney.
I have no need of this level of aggravation. Sarah Pierce has some great games, but this one is not one of them. A challenge is one thing; an ordeal is quite another.

Love this game. For those who think it’s too hard, try the practice puzzles. They’re not timed. I play that way because I’m one of those people who always freaked out over timed tests. I enjoy the game much more that way.

Recently the letters do not appear in the box on screen as they are typed, which makes it more difficult to play the game. Not sure if this is just a temporary glitch in the software?

### 1.7 — 2012-03-21

- Now with retina graphics for the new iPad! Some images that were not retina on the iPhone have also been fixed.

- Practice mode is now more like regular levels, with a stats report after each five words that lets you see how you are doing and check definitions for words you don’t know. There is still no timer though, so it is more relaxing than the other timed levels.

- Ability to quit a game early. When the game is paused the Pass button now changes to a Home button. To quit a game early, press Pause then Home.

- Bug fixes. This update fixes the floating letter bug, which was not completely fixed in the last update. Thanks to the users who emailed about this for tipping us off to the problem! Our apologies to everyone who was affected by this bug. Also fixed is the random letters appearing in the textbox at the start of the game bug. Thanks to Julie who sent many emails to help us figure this one out!

### 1.5 — 2012-02-28

- Two new levels. Premium users can now play the 8-10 letter words in practice mode with no timer, and in the Hard level with a 90 second timer. We are especially exited about the addition of the long-word practice mode. Without this the jump between Medium and Expert was pretty harsh. Thanks to the user who suggested this!

- Reset button for the stats. To reset your stats, go to the stats page and scroll down to the bottom. There is now a reset button next to the back button. Thanks to all the users who emailed with this suggestion!

- Pause button. Thanks to all the users who emailed with this suggestion!

- Bug fixes. This upgrade fixes the floating letter bug, and the correct answers not being scored as correct bug. Thanks to the users who emailed about these for tipping us off to the problem, and our apologies to everyone who was affected by these. We were unfortunately not able to find the source of the time-zone bug that some people are having, as all our testing still shows it the game adjusting to different time zones correctly. We will keep looking for the source of this problem! Our apologies to those for whom the time of day stats are a bit off.
