The problem is that in-app purchases are device specific so you pay $5 and then if you switch devices or buy an additional device it won't have the upgraded version. Very deceiving and apple should not have allowed this. I am now expected to buy it again for iPhone 4. I emailed Polar Bear Farm (based in New Zealand) about this, but because it was around the time of the earthquake only received a holding reply. The restore purchases is also buggy. I managed to initially restore a previous purchase but when next went in, kept receiving popup to purchase again! Update: I've now been charged for app, although I had paid previously. I wouldn't mind so much, but now the app is completely inoperable and just freezes when you open.
