We didn't realize that google ads was doing this. ### 1/5 — Ditch the sexist banner *2026-08-16* In most respects this looks like a good, useful unit converter. But WHY the sexist banner? Can’t you at least provide an option for getting rid of it? I’d gladly pay. **Developer response:** We are sorry that you are having issues with the app. Could you email support we would like to know what part of the Banner is sexist, this is not our intention. If you are referring to the Ad banner, we are getting ads from Google, we don't really control the type of ads being shown but if you could give us an example we can message Google to restrain certain ads. ### 1/5 — WHOA. Stop! Advertisements! *2024-01-27* If you show ads you should let us know before we waste our time downloading. Deleted app. There are plenty of free conversion apps that don’t show ads. If you want money, just ask - like unlocking features etc or offering a pro version. But advertising on ‘MY’ phone is ONLY my choice not yours. ### 1/5 — Developer wants a SUBSCRIPTION, red app icon, and worse name to remove ads *2024-01-09* Developer wants me to subscribe instead of paying once with option to donate, force me to have a worse app icon that is red, and have a longer and much worse app name just to remove ads. I told them their practices are demonic and terrible! Apple should be held responsible for this obscene allowance and abuse of power. **Developer response:** Convert Units never has had a subscription feature.
