## What is Convertora?

Convertora is a unit, ingredient and recipe converter built for real kitchens and everyday life — and it works entirely offline, with no account and no ads.

Most converters give you one box, one dropdown and a number. Convertora is built around the questions people actually ask: how much does a cup of flour weigh, what is 180C in Fahrenheit, and what happens to this recipe if I cook it for six instead of four.

TEN CONVERTERS, ONE TAP AWAY
• Weight — grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds
• Liquid Volume — millilitres, litres, pints, gallons
• Cooking Volume — cups, tablespoons, teaspoons
• Ingredients — cups to grams for a specific ingredient
• Temperature — Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin and Gas Mark

CUPS TO GRAMS, DONE PROPERLY
A cup of flour and a cup of sugar are not the same weight. Convertora uses a real density figure for around fifty common ingredients, so cups to grams gives you an answer worth trusting. Sifted and packed flour are stored separately, because they genuinely differ. Every ingredient result is marked as an estimate — we would rather be honest than pretend a cup of flour is an exact science.

THREE DIFFERENT CUPS, BECAUSE THERE ARE THREE
US, metric and imperial cups are all different sizes, and using the wrong one quietly ruins a bake. Convertora keeps them apart, lets you switch on the spot, and defaults sensibly for your region.

SCALE A WHOLE RECIPE
Enter your ingredients and the original servings, then change the servings — every quantity rescales as you type. Half, double and triple in one tap. Convert an individual ingredient's units without touching the rest. Save recipes for next time, and share a scaled version straight to messages or email.

SEARCH INSTEAD OF TAPPING
Type "250 g to oz", "flour cup grams" or "cups to grams" into the search field and go straight there.

ANSWERS THE WAY YOU WANT THEM
• Fractions, decimals, or both together — 1.5 (1½)
• Choose your decimal precision, or let the app pick
• Small values never round away to a useless zero
• MB and MiB kept properly apart, powers of ten and powers of two
• Favourites you can name, pin and reorder
• Optional conversion history you can switch off or clear

Full VoiceOver support with proper labels and spoken results. Larger controls and a high-contrast mode for anyone who needs them. Reduce animations. Light, dark or follow your system. Respects your system text size.

GENUINELY PRIVATE, NOT JUST "PRIVACY-FRIENDLY"
Convertora has no account, no sign-in and no cloud. It collects nothing about you and contains no analytics or advertising code. The app contains no networking code at all, so it cannot send your data anywhere, whether we wanted to or not. Your favourites, history and recipes stay on your phone. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Convertora is made for everyday use — cooking, baking, shopping, travel and DIY. It is not intended for medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory or other safety-critical measurements.
