## What is ConvinceIQ?

ConvinceIQ is a practice arena for persuasion, negotiation and clear argument. Pick a scenario, make your case against a sharp AI opponent, and get a transparent score that shows you exactly what worked and what did not.

Skill-building, never manipulation. Every chamber rewards sound reasoning, honest evidence and fair rebuttal — the craft of a good argument, not tricks.

STEP INTO A CHAMBER
Five kinds of scenario across three difficulty levels: pitch an idea, negotiate a deal, defend a position in debate, reason through an ethical dilemma, or handle a hard objection with composure. Write your argument, face a counter-argument and a probing question, then answer it.

A SCORE THAT SHOWS ITS WORKING
Your Persuasion Score is computed on your device by a fixed, published formula across seven dimensions — argument structure, evidence and grounding, logical cohesion, fallacy avoidance, persuasive appeal, clarity and precision, and rebuttal handling. An itemized breakdown names every point gained and lost, and the in-app How This Is Scored sheet discloses the exact weights. The number is never guessed by artificial intelligence.

A rhetorical skill radar shows your shape across all seven dimensions. Trends track each one over time, your session history keeps every scorecard, and goals and streaks keep you coming back.

LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS, FREE
The whole library stays free: the Toulmin model of argument, twenty logical fallacies with plain examples, ethos, pathos and logos, the principles of influence, and the basics of principled negotiation.

Fixes for subscribers:

• Pro access could be switched off for an active subscriber after a restart or a brief connection problem. It now stays on, and any account affected is restored automatically the next time the app opens.
• The subscription screen sometimes showed plans it could not actually complete when the App Store was slow to answer. It now retries, and tells you plainly if it still cannot reach the store.

Cancelling or letting a subscription lapse still works exactly as before.
