## What is Cook 4 PC?

Cooking.Comfort.Care. Nourishment for Pancreatic Cancer Fight’s new App “Cook 4 PC” offers flavorful recipes and practical tips to help you or your loved one manage nutritional challenges associated with pancreatic cancer. Getting enough nutrients, managing loss of appetite and problems with digestion are just some of the issues people with pancreatic cancer face.  
 
Features include:

SEASONAL RECIPES: Get inspired by seasonal recipes whether it’s for a special occasion, national holiday or just a family meal.  You can also bookmark your favorite recipes, and share them by email or through your favorite social media channel (Facebook, Twitter). New recipes will be added regularly.

SHOPPING CART: Add ingredients from these recipes to your shopping list and cross them off at the store.

ADD NEW RECIPES: Expand your recipe library by adding recipes from the Internet. You can also add notes to all recipes. 

SEARCH & FILTER RECIPES: For existing recipes you can search by categories such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, holiday, or desserts. For imported recipes you can search by keywords.

ADJUST SERVINGS: You can double the serving size for existing recipes to freeze for another time. When this option is chosen the existing recipes will adjust automatically.

TIPS: Learn ways to fix the flavor of food that may taste bland or metallic. Get nutritional tips on how to promote better digestion and less nausea. Learn about easy substitutions for fat or lactose intolerances.

The program was created by Celgene Corporation. All of the recipes were designed by registered dieticians who are board-certified specialists in oncology nutrition affiliated with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and Meals to Heal along with Chef Michael Ferraro.  The contents of this program are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
