## What is Cook & Repeat?

Cook & Repeat is the recipe app where your recipes get better every time you cook.

You cook a recipe, note what you noticed, and next time your learnings are already waiting. Version 1 becomes version 2, and version 1 stays just as it was.

HOW A COOKING EVENING GOES

Cook at the tablet
The tablet sits in landscape on the counter. Ingredients on the left, the current step large on the right, the timers below. Drag the servings and every quantity follows, even in the middle of a step. Several timers run side by side.

Log on the phone
After dinner you pick up your phone. Rate it, take photos and write down what you’ll do differently next time.

Better next time
Your open learnings are right on the start screen, and one tap turns them into the next version. Version 2 holds what you’ve learned. You can cook version 1 again any time.

AND EVERYTHING A RECIPE APP HAS TO DO

• Recipes from links: just share them from your browser
• Import your recipes from other apps
• Adjust servings, metric or cups and ounces
• Categories, search and filters
• Compare versions: what changed in the ingredients and steps?
• Light and dark, built for phone and tablet

FREE

No account, no ads. Collect, cook, log and improve, as many recipes as you like. Everything stays on your device.

PLUS

One subscription for you and everyone you cook with.

• On all your devices: tablet for cooking, phone for capturing, recipes and notes in sync everywhere
• Shared library: share your recipes and Plus benefits with up to 5 other people
• AI-assisted recipe import: even from pages with a novel before the recipe
• Connector for AI assistants: use your favorite AI to develop recipes and save them straight to your library

If Plus ends, everything stays on your device and can still be edited.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-26

New: an ingredient table. The app now knows what a cup of flour or a spoon of sugar weighs and shows amounts in the right unit, even after scaling. It fetches new versions on its own; you can see the current one in Settings.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-24

• Connect your AI to Cook & Repeat: You'll now find the way there right on the home screen, with a step-by-step guide.
• Timers ring with a sound of your choice – from kitchen timer to tuba, bagpipes or a goat. Pick yours in Settings.
• Notes in cooking mode no longer get lost.
• After an import, you can report ingredients the app read wrong. This helps us improve how the app reads recipes.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-24

Cook & Repeat now speaks English. The app follows your device language, and in the US it starts with cups, ounces and °F.
• AI import (Plus): Flour, sugar and other dry ingredients given in spoons or cups now come with their weight. Steps with rough times like "braise until tender" get a timer.
• Every sample recipe now has a photo.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-20

Neue Bilder im Store und kleine Verbesserungen.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-19

No release notes.
