## What is Cook Today?

Cook Today turns a short quiz into your weekly meal plan. Offline, no account, no fuss: tell it your diet, allergies, appliances, budget and favorite supermarket, and in a minute you have breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole week.

A plan that fits you
Say what you eat and what you don't. Cook Today builds a balanced 7-day plan around the meals you actually cook, respecting your diet, allergies and the equipment you have at home.

Recipes & nutrition
Tap any dish for its step-by-step recipe and nutrition facts. Not in the mood? One tap swaps it for another recipe that fits.

A shopping list, aisle by aisle
The week's quantities are grouped and sorted by supermarket aisle, with a price estimate for Walmart, Tesco, Sainsbury's or Aldi before you leave home.

Private by design
Everything runs offline. Your plan, recipes and list stay on your device. No servers, no account. No ads, ever.

Cook Today Premium
Free: generate plans, browse recipes and build your shopping list. Premium removes the limits: the full recipe catalog, your own recipes and backup with import & export. Monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.

New: Cooking Journal — snap a photo of every dish you cook, browse it day by day, and keep your home-cooking streak going. Plus polish and fixes.

### 1.1.48 — 2026-10-02

Stability improvements and more reliable crash reporting.

### 1.1.47 — 2026-09-29

Fixed: tapping a date now scrolls the day fully into place on the timeline.

### 1.1.46 — 2026-09-26

Portions per meal, not just per week: set how many people each meal is for, and the shopping list and prices follow. New: foods to avoid and weekly themes (like fish on Friday) are now part of meal planning. Fixed the second dish not getting checked off after cooking. Many small fixes to swaps, counts and prices.

### 1.1.44 — 2026-09-24

Plans are now yours to shape: get a nudge when tomorrow is still empty, adjust servings in one tap, and add or remove a meal anytime. Finishing dinner got its moment — tonight's dishes line up as a full table, along with what the table cost and what's on for tomorrow.
