## What is Cookbook Client?

Please note: This application functions as a companion to your existing Nextcloud account with the CookBook app installed. Without these, the application will not operate.

The app offers management tools for Cookbook recipes in your Nextcloud. It allows you to view, edit, create and delete recipes. The app allows downloading recipes for offline access, ensuring access even without an internet connection. 
Shopping for ingredients is simplified with the ability to add recipe ingredients directly to a grocery list. Additionally, it supports importing recipes from popular websites and exporting them as PDF or plain text.

For logging in, there are two methods available: web-login and app tokens. App tokens can be generated through the security settings in your Nextcloud web interface.

Da es gute Bewertungen gibt, wird die App wohl einmal funktioniert haben. Mit aktueller Hardware und Software und trotz superschnellem Glasfaseranschluss funktioniert die Synchronisation mit dem Nextcloud Server nicht einwandfrei.  Selbst bei nur einem einfachen Rezept dauert Synchronisation mehrere Minuten, App verliert immer wieder Verbindung zum Server. Die App ist leider unbrauchbar, schade.

Danke für diesen Client, der wirklich alles mitbringt. Würde mich freuen, wenn irgendwann der Rezept-Import von zb Einfachbackenpunktde klappt, aber das geht ja zur Not auch über meine Nextcloud Instanz selbst. Danke für ihre Arbeit.

Sehr viel bessere Implementierung als in der einzigen iOS Alternative, die ich kenne. Danke fürs Übernehmen der Rekalkulation der Rezepte bei veränderten Portionen. Super gelöst.
Einziger minimaler Kritikpunkt: Zutaten, die mit ## beginnen, sollten als Überschriften für Bestandteile des Rezepts formatiert werden (zB ##Teig und ##Füllung).

Ich benutze eigentlich die App Körbchen, finde hier aber wesentlich sympathischer, dass ich alles in meiner Nextcloud speichern kann bzw. muss.
Wünschen würde ich mir, wenn zukünftig auch das Hinzufügen und Bearbeiten von Bildern funktioniert. Außerdem träume ich von einer Integration der iOS-eigenen Erinnerungen-App bei der Einkaufsliste (in etwa so wie bei der App Supergeil).
Bin gespannt, was noch kommt in Zukunft.😊

Does not log into any server, says I don’t have an internet connection. The other cookbook app works, even though it is poorly written and looks horrible.
