### 5/5 — Best App for Meal Planning

*2026-05-12, version 4.2.0*

This app is everything I’ve been looking for! It makes meal planning so much easier, especially when I’m incorporating online recipes and recipes from cookbooks. Plus, the shopping list feature is great. I love seeing everything on one spot.

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2026-05-11, version 4.2.0*

Finally have a way to view and use recipes without all the annoying, spam my pop-ups that get in the way!🙌🏻

### 4/5 — Excellent, but could be better

*2026-05-04, version 4.2.0*

I really like the app, and the latest version did make it quite better. However, there are several, not so difficult additions that would make it the best! 1 ) automatic recipe titles 2) allow mixing two recipes in one, so you can prepare several dishes at the same time 3) timers by section 4) sometimes the AI gets rid of too much detail; it would be good either being able to fine tune the level of detail or being able to access the text from the original recipe

### 5/5 — Really useful app!

*2026-04-21, version 4.2.0*

This wonderful app trims all the ads and padding out of online recipes, and saves them in a well organised place that is easy to search and use for cooking. I’m still using the free version that does everything I need. Worth supporting this developer! Thank you!

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2026-02-26*

Tolle App, schon lange sowas gesucht. Das einzige Problem was ich damit habe: Mal werden die Rezepte auf deutsch, dann wieder auf englisch generiert. Obwohl das Rezeptvideo immer deutsch ist. Wenn es da ne Lösung gibt, gibt es 5 Sterne

### 5/5 — I use it everyday

*2026-02-17, version 2.5.0*

Obsessed with cooked.wiki! I’ve used it for years and finally upgraded to premium for easier access to saving recipes from reels and tik toks. It takes screenshots and automatically formats to recipes for you! I just wish that the app would turn your recipes sideways when I turn my phone landscape mode. Because of this lack of feature, I still tend to use the website more often than the app. But I still love cooked.wiki! Will use it for the rest of my life!!

### 5/5 — Easy way to organize recipe

*2025-12-19, version 1.5.0*

Love that it’s so easy to copy recipes to this app, makes it easier to organize everything. I just wish it has an official browser extension for easier import when i’m using PC. Also UI can still be improved.

### 5/5 — Life saver

*2025-11-08, version 1.2.1*

The website is awesome and the app is proving to be 5 stars as well. All my recipes arrived safe and sound. I feel lucky to have this gem in my life.

### 5/5 — Finally a place for TikTok recipes

*2025-11-08, version 1.2.1*

I’m really impressed with how usable this is. It can take recipes from TikTok, Facebook, webpages, you name it and creates easy to follow step by step instructions with a photo of the dish. You can create categories to save them and you can save your own recipes using multiple methods. I’ve been using this since Beta and the developer is really responsive to questions and suggestions

### 5/5 — Where has this been all my life?

*2025-11-07, version 1.2.1*

This app saves me so much time and is really clever. 100% recommend

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Paywall blocks old features

*2026-07-27, version 4.2.0*

Retroactively takes away previously used features so that you have to get a premium subscription service. Pretty pricey for an app that doesn’t have a dark mode… Just use Obsidian with the Pantry plugin. Does the exact same thing for free. Screw digital feudalism

### 1/5 — Wrote out an entire recipe and then learned I had to pay.

*2026-03-29, version 2.5.0*

As the title stated, I wasted my time writing out and formatting a recipe only to find out afterwards that I needed to pay. I’ve used this service in the past and it has never been an issue.

I’m not upset about needing to support the app, I’m upset by the sneaky and manipulative technique of first wasting someone’s time so they feel extra pressure to pay money.

### 1/5 — Great App, poor support

*2026-01-27, version 2.5.0*

Awesome App. Unfortunately it is a one-man show with no support. No way to unsubscribe, cancel subscription, etc. Very unfortunate.

### 1/5 — Can't add photos to cooked recipes

*2025-11-17*

Only lets me add pictures on the browser not the app

### 3/5 — Wish I didn’t have to pay

*2026-05-03, version 4.2.0*

I like this app but I think it’s to much to pay 60 a year for a recipe app no thank you

### 3/5 — Great idea, functionally clunky

*2026-03-18, version 2.5.0*

I paid for a years subscription. I love the way this app is supposed to help me save recipes. Love the way you can easily create a recipe card from a photo and other features. But in actually using it, I find it pretty clunky. I often get error messages.

### 3/5 — Meh

*2025-11-26, version 1.3.3*

Love Cooked.Wiki but not a huge fan of the app. Let me start by saying I tell EVERYONE (and I mean everyone!) about Cooked.Wiki’s website. I coughed up a bit of moolah to gain entry to the app because the creator(s) deserve some love but the app at times takes several seconds to respond. Every time I create and save a recipe, it freezes to the point I have to shut down and re-open the app. I know it’s a young app but I’m really hoping improvements skyrocket to match the amazingness of Cooked.Wiki!

### 3/5 — Used to be better

*2025-11-11, version 1.2.1*

while i understand automatic categorizing being a premium feature, it is unfortunate that we can no longer add recipes to pre-existing categories.

### 4/5 — Cooked.wiki Review 1 2608

*2026-08-15, version 4.2.0*

This is a great tool so far. I love the display and how it aggregates the key components, stripping out all of the unnecessary distractions from the original recipe webpage.
The one request I have is- if there was a way to save a link to a webpage that lists several recipes. For example, Food Network posted an article with “15 Suggested Recipes for using Grilled Chicken”… I wish I could save that webpage, access the list of 15-recipes, then, as I try each one, the recipes I enjoy & want to save for the future, I will add them to my profile’s individual recipe lists that I have been compiling.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2026-06-18, version 4.2.0*

Love using this app. I mainly downloaded it because it gave me the option to print out pdfs of recipes. Unfortunately that was only for a limited time and you need to subscribe to keep that option I believe. Whilst I would be more than happy to pay a one time price to use this app, I do not plan to subscribe to it.
I love that you can save said recipes and have them all in one place. Before I would just type “cooked.wiki/“ into the search bar before the recipe link

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2026-08-18, version 4.2.0*

I am obsessed with Cooked and have been using it since it was merely a wiki and not an app. It takes the recipes and makes them mom-blog free, easy to follow, and uniform. My recipe binder and brain thank you!

### 5/5 — Home is where the heart is.

*2026-08-13, version 4.2.0*

I love that I can save recipes that I find on the internet and try to make. But the best is recipes that my family and friends have shared. It’s truly amazing how it breaks it down to ingredients and presentation.

### 5/5 — The best app the be created

*2026-08-02, version 4.2.0*

A place that brings together all your favourite recipes, strips out the ads and irrelevant stories, AND allows you to make changes to your taste and make notes, THEN you can even save it as a pdf.. this is the greatest app ever created. And it’s free (I hope it stays that way)

### 5/5 — Incredible app

*2026-07-29, version 4.2.0*

I used this platform as a website before they developed the app and it is a game changer. The app flawlessly executes the original vision and I love having all of my online recipes in one place!! And that is on top of how much clearer and more organized the display of each recipe becomes through the app. It is so easy to edit and change recipes, there is nothing about this app I don’t love. Also, this is the only app review I have ever felt morally obligated to write because they have done such a service with this.

### 5/5 — A must have

*2026-07-24, version 4.2.0*

Looking for something like this for ages. The perfect way to consolidate all those recipes you’ve got lying around

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-07-18, version 4.2.0*

It does a great job of converting videos and things on the web into actual recipes without having to read a story about your grandma’s uncle’s best friend. It’s real handy too when converting to make larger batches.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-06-10, version 4.2.0*

This app is absolutely fabulous! I recommend it to everyone that I talk to about recipes. It is so easy to use. Just about any recipe you have—handwritten, reels, screenshots, you name it—can be imported. One of my favorite things to do is to print a quick copy before I cook so I don’t have to keep my phone app open (and the print is larger). And, if a friend/family member texts me and says they need recipe, I just send them a copy of the PDF (after I tell them to download the app)! I can’t say enough about it. I love it.

### 5/5 — Greatest!

*2026-06-08, version 4.2.0*

Absolutely love this app. Recommend it to anyone who spends time in the kitchen!

### 5/5 — Love Cooked

*2026-05-28, version 4.2.0*

I’ve been using Cooked.wiki since before it was an app. I love all the improvements and upgrades the developers have made to the app since it was rolled out. If you have a question or concern, they respond quickly. No bots, but an actual human being. Thank you!!!!

### 5/5 — Designed well

*2026-05-14*

I love this app. I tell everyone about it. Its so easy to put my Pinterest and Instagram recipes in the same spot. It converts between metric and imperial AND will scale portion sizes ?!?! So easy to scroll through a recipe and the screen stays on when I cook !! Love love love it.
