New update is only to make the game take longer.
9.9 did not really add new content, it’s biggest change was splitting the skills you can get into 3 categories. And instead of all skills costing one skill point per level, higher tier skills cost more (up to 3 per level) without providing extra benefit.

Insanely fun game but theres nothing to do late game. I think game progression should be different and slower and there should be more things to do
