## What is Cooking Log?

Cooking Log is a notebook for what you actually cooked. Save the dish, the date, the ingredient amounts, a rating from 1 to 5, and whether it was a success, a failure, or still needs work.

Keep the ratios:
• Amounts belong to the serving size you save
• Scale the recipe to another number of servings
• When every ingredient uses the same unit, the detail page shows the percentage
• Categories, steps, notes, and an optional photo

iPhone and Mac:
• The same records can sync between your devices when you use the same account
• No separate sign-up inside the app
• If sync is unavailable, records stay on that device

Free: unlimited records, ratings, categories, photos, and device sync.
Premium is a one-time purchase that exports one dish or the whole library to Markdown, JSON, or CSV. Importing a JSON backup is free, so a copy of your notes is not locked to the purchase.

Cooking Log does not upload your recipes to its own servers.
