Disappointing. This is actually a great game. Expensive but great. ### 3/5 — Good, BUT… *2022-07-19* On the one hand, this is a well made game, looks good, ok story, runs well, & it’s - for the most part - pretty fun! HOWEVER, be aware that there is a distinct focus on buying diamonds. The game starts off pretty easy, but occasionally throws in a really difficult level (this frequency seems to increase over time played) - which is fine, I like a challenge - but what’s frustrating is that you get to a point where it’s not humanly possible to pass a level without using a significant amount of diamonds, even with tools levelled up to the max. I understand that the creator needs to earn a living, & the option of power ups (which you buy with diamonds) are useful & still a good means to do that, but to deliberately make it impossible to pass a level on skill alone is a dirty & frustrating trick. Sometimes even with diamonds, it’s difficult to pass, & I believe this is to incentivise people to buy the bigger diamond packages than the minimum (& to make it more difficult to pass using the limited diamonds you can earn through watching ads) - again, greedy. Honestly, if I were to make a purchase, I’d be more motivated to purchase the stars over diamonds — I think this would be a better option, because impatient people will still buy, but you can also earn them in-game. Also when watching an add all your dishes burn and you automatically lose, which completely defeats the option of watching adds. However I find the cooking type games are possible to progress with very little need to pay to win. So I definitely recommend this game!
