This App provides preview content on Pasta & Noodles, including 9 recipes, 15 exprecipes, ingredient information and a how-to video. In-App purchases provide access to a staggering 2000 recipes and information about 126 ingredients, from abalone to zucchini, as contained in the bestselling classic book, 'The Cook's Companion'.

I bought this years ago, haven’t used it for a while, and now I can’t access recipes I used to have access to without having to pay for new “bundles”. Guess I’ll have to stick to the paper version.

I have long used the SA cookbook but am really annoyed that every time I search for a recipe in this app, I am asked to pay more to access that part of the recipe collection. A big thumbs down from me. Just be transparent about the actual cost of the recipe collection from the outset.

Owning the print version of Stephanie's Cook’s Companion has always right of passage in becoming, dare I say, a competent or better and interesting cook. Now in electronic form, it saves a great deal of physical energy lugging it around and, in keeping with Stephanie Alexander’s long established ethics, we know we can be assured it will kept viable as operating systems change. The recent outage with iOS 12 was rectified quickly and all is well. You can’t say the same for certain celebrity chefs who simply abandon their old to apps to churn out new money spinners for the naive.  Enjoy Stephanie’s help and don’t leave home without it.

If I could only have one cookbook, this would have to be it. For years I have relied on Stephanie’s encyclopaedic book, both the original and the updated edition. I was so pleased when I was able to purchase the app for my iPad, with all the convenient extra bells and whistles and none of the physical weight. I am even more pleased now that the recent mega bug has been rectified!

I love this cookbook and so I purchased this app to use when traveling. It worked when I first made the purchase but now only a couple of lines of the method show and this makes it useless. Please fix this bug.

I’d like to buy this, but the app doesn’t work properly and I don’t have faith that it’s being maintained for future devices or iOS.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback - there were some bugs following the release of iOS 12 but these have now been fixed. We know how many users love using this App, so we plan to maintain it. We hope you continue to enjoy using the App.

The October 2018 update fixes the menu bar display (where the text fails to display) but now the menu methods descriptions do not fully display! It’s a bigger problem. It’s a great APP but the updates are not effectively checked for bugs. Avoid this update!

Both the heading display and methods display issues have now been fixed. Thank you for your patience while we released the update, and we hope you continue to enjoy using the App.
