### 3/5 — How to celebrate 70th Birthday with a Quadrathon!

*2026-08-05, version 2.17.0*

My birthday is in Feb 2027 when I will be 70 years old. To mark that significant milestone I am running 4 long distance races. The Great North Run 1/2 marathon for which I have used the Coopah App followed by Great South run 10 miles, Paddock Wood Half Marathon and culminating in the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2027. I will exclusively use the Coopah app due to my experience building up to the GNR. I am also using this opportunity to raise money for BBS Uk, a genetic decease that affects 1/100,000 people in Uk.
Thank you Coopah for your support and great plans

### 3/5 — Suunto watches support

*2026-05-03, version 2.12.0*

Can you please add Suunto watches as support?

### 5/5 — Coopah App - highly recommended

*2026-02-19, version 2.7.0*

I have been using Coopah for two years now and have found it excellent. It gives you plenty of useful workouts and you have the ability to interact with either a live coach or an AI trainer who can help you with your questions. It is fairly adaptable and has been great at keeping me on track with my goals.

### 5/5 — Great Running Coach

*2026-02-14, version 2.6.2*

I was with the other running app for a year, it was ok, but I don’t really feel I progressed that much. Coopah is much more personal, they check in with you regularly and if you miss a session. Far superior to any other online running app. Thank you Coopah

### 4/5 — My Review

*2026-02-11, version 2.6.2*

Love Coopah so far! My only issue is that I am unable to connect my SE series 3 watch for my workouts as Coopah requires a newer model.

### 4/5 — Great

*2026-01-30, version 2.5.0*

I love this app and think the plan is very good the only thing that lets it down is there’s no one talking to you, it just beeps I think voice prompts would make it 5 star telling you to slow down/speed up or when to walk etc

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-01-27*

I’ve only been using the app for a few weeks but I’m loving it!

### 5/5 — The sweet spot

*2026-01-23, version 2.5.0*

Having used high-cost personal coaching and low-cost pdf and ChatGPT plans, this is an amazing experience.

The personal AND AI chats are both valuable and the tech integration is totally seamless.

### 2/5 — Not as good as competitors

*2025-12-27, version 2.4.4*

I have used runna for a few marathons and a couple of races and never had a problem and reached peak fitness using that app. I was offered Coopah at a decent discount for the year and thought I’d give it a shot. Unfortunately it’s not as good or as enjoyable as runna. The workouts seem more like homework and not nearly as fun or interesting as runna. I am actually losing fitness as a result of using this app because it’s taking too long to get into the training. After using for 5 months I’ve given in and got runna back. I’m sure this is purely a personal opinion but runna is far superior in every way in my opinion.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2025-12-05, version 2.3.3*

I just used Coopah for a second marathon and loved it. The workouts are great—hard but not impossible, and the app is easy to use. I love that it finally syncs to my Coros.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-12-04, version 2.3.3*

Never had a run plan app, got it free with London marathon place and I will be paying for it when this expires. It’s easy and simple

### 4/5 — Great training plans

*2025-11-13, version 2.2.1*

Training plans are simple and functional. Would get 5 stars if the strength workouts played a sound when transitioning between exercises. It is annoying having to always look at the phone screen!

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-11-11, version 2.2.1*

Great app with lots of structured workouts! I love the flexibility to reschedule the workouts and the strength plans included in the training. I unlocked a PB when I used the app for marathon training, and highly recommended for training.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This running app destroyed my passion for running.

*2026-07-03, version 2.15.1*

Planning on switching back to my original app, as this one is truly awful.

Lacking in:
Stretching advice or videos
Automatically adjusting for speed
Fair or balanced targets

### 1/5 — Pretty Useless / Promises a personal coach. Delivers a calendar with confidence issues.

*2026-01-28, version 2.5.0*

Coopah presents itself as a personal coach, nutritionist, mentor and training partner. The reality is far more modest: multiple disconnected chatbots bolted onto what is essentially an Excel sheet wearing a calendar.

I’m new to marathon training and started with high hopes. The 2-week trial barely allowed meaningful exploration, but once I paid for a full-year subscription (a decision I now fully regret), the limitations became painfully clear.

Key issues:
   •   No integration with Garmin or HR monitors.
Despite connecting devices, activities are not fetched or reflected back into Coopah. Training without feedback loops is not training — it’s guesswork.
   •   Workout videos are unusable in practice.
Exercises are split into tiny chapters. You must tap the screen every 30 seconds to move to the next step. That’s not how workout videos work. Nobody wants to interrupt a plank to play “Next Episode”.
   •   Running mode is a glorified stopwatch.
Start a run and it simply keeps counting time. Stop, slow down, speed up — the app doesn’t care. No pacing logic, no adaptive behaviour, no intelligence.
   •   AI conversations are cosmetic.
Anything discussed with the chatbot stays trapped in the chat window. Advice is never incorporated into your actual training plan. The “AI coach” cannot update or adapt the plan it supposedly coaches.
   •   Zero accommodation for real-world constraints.
Injuries, dietary needs, physical limitations — none are meaningfully integrated into planning logic.
   •   Planning logic lacks credibility.
I’ve never run a marathon. Ask for a sub-4:20 plan with 20 weeks — it confidently delivers. Reduce the target to sub-4 with fewer than 16 weeks and an existing injury — it still delivers, proudly displaying a “confidence %”.
Real training apps flag risk. Coopah just smiles and says yes. Apparently, it could also plan a moon landing in a fortnight.
   •   Using the app feels like homework.
And sadly, not the useful kind.

Bottom line:
Coopah overpromises and underdelivers. It markets intelligence, personalisation and coaching, but offers none of them in a meaningful, connected way. Without device integration, adaptive logic or genuine plan customisation, this is not a coaching platform — it’s a static schedule with motivational flair.

If you’re serious about marathon training, look elsewhere. Confidence percentages are not a substitute for physiology.

### 1/5 — So many bugs with this app

*2025-11-11, version 2.2.1*

Would be great if it worked with Apple Watch. I’m only on week 4 and already 2 of my runs that have recorded via Coopah on my Apple Watch have not synced with the Coopah app. Also no longer getting audio prompts during the run, have spoken with their tech support but they have been no help in resolving these issues, they just send a message saying they will send it to the technical team, a real shame as it could be very useful.

### 1/5 — Free T-Shirt

*2025-08-30, version 1.17.0*

Said theyd give me a free t-shirt if i left a review, they didnt. Probably the reason for the majority of the 5 star reviews.

### 1/5 — A “running coach” without heart rate analysis

*2025-05-29*

I couldn’t believe it at first: Coopah is the only running app I know of that connects to your watch, but doesn’t import or analyze heart rate data. Support confirmed this fact for me. So the system doesn’t make a difference between someone who runs a 10k easy run with an average heart rate of 120 and someone who runs it at 180! It just looks if you keep your pace targets to adapt your plan, not if you are risking your health. I think you should be aware of this fact. For me, that’s an absolute no go. Pace-based training is established, ignoring pulse/heart rate isn’t and could even be a risk for inexperienced and novice runners who don’t know about HR zones and their impact on your health.

### 1/5 — Great training plan BUT

*2025-05-11, version 1.11.0*

The app won’t load! When it happened before I’d switch my phone off and back on and it would load up…. Now I’m just getting the orange whirly circle of doom 🤷🏼‍♀️ my os and app are both up to date, what’s the point of paying so much money for something I can’t use.

### 2/5 — Not helpful

*2026-08-09, version 2.17.0*

I’ve been using this for over a month now and I’m not impressed.

All feedback is AI generated you can request human feedback but it’s really generic and not helpful.
The plan doesn’t adapt as you progress, it tells you to review it yourself. So begs the question… why not just use your Strava (which is more detailed) and coach yourself?

The next problem I have is even after linking to my watch, it never pulls in my pace data. It just takes an average and applies the same to all splits.

By comparison, other apps will assess your pace against elevation and provide better feedback. They also adapt as you progress.

Overall this is a bit of a waste of money in my opinion.

### 2/5 — Goal or money back?

*2026-07-16, version 2.15.5*

I had a goal of breaking a certain time. Coopah didn’t deliver.

The strength workouts and how they were delivered were great in the app.

Support from the Coopah team felt inadequate, contradicting things they had said themselves too.

The intervals were OK. A lot of the runs focussed on time rather than distance and since I only really work in distance rather than time that was quite difficult to work with, having to plan certain routes based off estimate timings.

I think this app is fine for someone doing their first marathon or 10k as a novice runner, but for someone looking for an app to take the faff and stress of organising a training plan away and one that will also help them excel in their running, I think this app is not it.

### 2/5 — Marathon plan

*2026-05-06, version 2.12.0*

Followed a structured marathon plan that failed me on the day of the marathon. Despite repeatedly reaching out to the couches I was assured everything was on track. After the event I was told that the plan was actually not accurate and they should have spotted this sooner.

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2026-04-27, version 2.12.0*

Given the training program offered, according to the App I was 84% on target to achieve my marathon time in my first race. In reality I missed that by 31 minutes, because I hadn’t controlled my speed effectively enough through my training runs, nor had I built up sufficient stamina. But nothing on the App told me that. Disappointed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Restarted my running journey with Coopah

*2026-08-15*

Restarted my running journey with Coopah, and it has been a fantastic experience. The personalised training plan gave me the structure and confidence I needed to get back into running and, over time, improve my pace and race timings.

The workouts are well planned, easy to follow, and adapt well to your progress. What I really appreciate is that Coopah makes you feel like you have a coach guiding you throughout the journey.

I’ve seen a real improvement in my running and timings, and I’m genuinely grateful to Coopah for being a part of that progress. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get back into running or improve their performance! 🏃‍♂️💪

### 5/5 — best thing i did was starting and sticking with Coopah

*2026-07-19, version 2.15.5*

I have just run another PB using Coopah and just 1 second off of what Coopah had as a predicted goal time at the start of the plan. There were sessions in this block that scared me to think about, but then I’d go out and hit all the target paces and return feeling as though the training plan knew what I had in me better than I did. I’d have been lost without Coopah. As I approached the end of the block, I had sessions that felt like I was a “real” runner or an “athlete”, like the Eilish 6 x 1 km @ target 10 km pace. I can’t recommend Coopah enough, I have used it for 18 months now and have had PBs at each distance as well as training and running a first marathon!

### 5/5 — Motivation

*2026-07-04, version 2.15.1*

Early days - just into my second week - but so far it is proving to be good for motivation. I am an experienced runner who has slightly lost her mojo, in that I have been going out to run without a plan, which is not a good thing. Looking forward to each session!

### 5/5 — 10k Achieved

*2026-06-15, version 2.14.0*

Fantastic app. It’s just helped me complete my first 10K. It’s does exactly what it coached me with clear instructions any questions I asked the AI the responses were quick and informative also when I reached out to one of the real coaches it was the same.

### 5/5 — Simply brilliant

*2026-05-31, version 2.14.0*

Some friends recommended Coopah to help me with improving my park run time. It’s a really easy to use app, simple to set up, and tailors a program from where you’re atto where you want to get too. It also has actual real people, who are coaches and runners in the background providing guidance and support. I love it, and I’ve just started on my second program.

### 5/5 — 7 mile hilly Race

*2026-05-29, version 2.14.0*

Love Coopah , this was my 3rd race with Coopah. There were people who said I wouldn’t manage this race, I believed in the process of the training and had a great result. There were people coaches are so helpful.

### 5/5 — From 0 to 26.2 in 6 months

*2026-05-16, version 2.13.0*

Coopah helped me take on my London Marathon mission for charity. My goal was to get active, building up from 5k/10k/half progressively and safely, and be ready to take on marathon day with confidence. I loved the flexibility to adapt my training plan according to what was happening in the week, and how customisable everything was. So happy with how things went using Coopah and am carrying on now with a new training plan for my next race. I’m telling everyone I know to use Coopah!

### 5/5 — Spot on!

*2026-04-28, version 2.12.0*

I can recommend Coopah, start to end of marathon training the pacing, targets and advice have been spot on. It linked to my Garmin which gave me live pacing whilst running, (which you can turn off), the advice from coaches was really helpful for me. I 100% do not think I would have reached my goal on sub 4 hour marathon without Coopah. I came out with 3hr 58min. I’m a mid-stage runner, I run regularly, this was my first marathon but have done lots of halves before.

### 5/5 — Coopah support for marathon

*2026-04-28, version 2.12.0*

I used Coopah for all my training leading up to the London Marathon. I found the layout great, the videos of all the exercise fantastic and really helpful. The timer for the exercises really kept me spurred on.

I made sure to provide feedback after all my sessions and this allowed the app to adapt the timings accordingly, when they were pitched a little too high.

I used the AI coach A LOT, for stretching advice for the little niggles I had in my muscles. I absolutely know that this stopped any injuries as I was following the advice rigidly. I also used it for nutrition and fuelling advice especially a couple of days before my race.

I’ve used other means to train before but I have to say Coopah far exceeded these. I’m now looking at a half marathon next and will put this into the app to get my next training programme. Really looking forward to the next training plan!

### 5/5 — Coopah - my training companion

*2026-04-28, version 2.12.0*

Coopah has been my training companion and buddy over the past several months, getting me from not being able to run 2 miles, to completing a marathon. I had an injury which reoccurred on the big day but I knew I could overcome the pain and get to the end. I will miss consulting Coopah every day. I got great support from real people and from the AI guides. Thank you Coopah.
