The upgraded app does allow changes to the schedule, so that as welcomed. Finish fixing the app pls. Was hopeful others would have mentioned it by now. ### 3/5 — Buttons need color *2025-01-26* Love the update just the buttons need color when toggled off and on ### 3/5 — Latest update has broken functionality *2024-09-06* Up until the last update, when you selected Swing, Turbo, or anything in the bottom section, your selection would turn blue so that way you knew it was on versus off, but since the last update you can select things and the unit will respond, but unless you’re standing next to the unit, you don’t know that state of each option. All options are just white and none toggle on in the app when selected. Please resolve! ### 3/5 — Siri Shortcuts Not Working *2024-08-19* Siri shortcuts broken in latest update. please fix. thank you. ### 3/5 — Nicely designed app, but doesn't display proper room temperature. *2024-04-03* I have 5 C&H slimduct air handlers that are located in the attic, crawlspace and garage. Temps in these areas are much colder (at this time) than where the C&H thermostats are installed in the actual living space. The app does a good job in controlling my AC, but the room temperature displayed in the app is inaccurate, since it is reading from the slimduct sensors, not the thermostats, as it should. ### 3/5 — Great product, physical units, work flawlessly *2023-07-06* Unfortunately, the app has a lot of missing functions like that the humidifying part only runs and runs. You cannot preset the humidity level inside the room and the temperature drops down below comfortable level. I own 12 units my 12 K the fan never turns off when the 9K it does stops once it reaches the desired room temperature. Also, the outdoor temperature and weather forecast very nice feature. If your phone is at the house location in my case, it’s not I get wetter 100 miles away from when the units are not useful, very misleading. Looks like Cooper and Hunter cares more about fixing the units since they just release the technicians up then making sure the customers like their product and usefulness of the current app. ### 3/5 — Missing few items for schedule *2023-03-02, version 1.2* It is good, but needs a few things added to schedule, like freeze protection for heat, and eco mode for cooling. ### 2/5 — Follow Me not supported *2023-01-19, version 1.2* It seems that when schedules are used, the follow me on the remote stops working. That makes schedules pointless for me. Please fix this issue. Except you cannot share the device, app says wait for owner to approve….but there is no way to approve. I spent 3 days and multiple password changes and have not even been able to connect. Hope this is not an indication of the quality of the product. I am questioning my choice already and should have chosen a better manufacturer. ### 1/5 — Fix *2026-06-04* Not only can you not tell if the function is on/off because the button color was taken away in the last update but also in scenes activation times for on/off have been removed. You use to beanie to set a specific time for the split to go on and turn off at a latter time. NOW when you create a scene all the excite button does is either turn the unit on or turn the unit off. PLEASE fix this and bring those past features back!!!!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Mini split does not connect through app *2026-04-12* I work with computer science. The built in wifi on the device needs improvement. ### 1/5 — Sdk error *2024-08-19* Brilliant work. The app used to work, now it’s broken. Can’t change the temperature reading on the Weather page, it’s stuck on Celsius. Can’t change the schedules that already exist because of some random SDK error wanting you to login and then try it when I’m already logged in. but we can watch lots and lots of rotating gears loading screens because everything you touch makes it do that. Unfortunately, half the time I get a “Operation failed, please try again” error message. I can retry repeatedly, and it won’t connect. All you can do is wait a half hour or so, and it works. I have two mini splits in different locations, and it doesn’t matter where I am to try to log in, it consistently does this. It won’t even let me into the app most of the time! ### 1/5 — Struggles sharing devices *2021-10-04* The app works okay on my iPhone. However, when I try to share QR codes with family members, it simply does not work. “The request has been submitted, please wait for the owner to agree”. And yet there seems no way for the owner to agree. I’ve checked the permissions on both sides. Generally, yes app seems clunky and poorly considered. ### 2/5 — Good, but missing key feature *2024-12-17* I got this to control a WIFI enabled C&H ceiling mounted mini split. Setup was easy and quick, and it works well as a remote, but it’s very limited. Download NetHome Plus instead. It’s basically the same app by the same company, but has a few more features like the ability to link with Alexa, etc. You will actually be able to login with the same credentials if you already setup the C&H app. ### 2/5 — Bare bones app that leaves me wishing I bought a better mini split *2023-11-01* Many companies make feature rich apps to go beyond the hardware limited buttons, this is definitely not one of those times. I’m just surprised how limited this app is. For me, it means we cannot use the app in our bedrooms without the remote as it cannot do basic functions like disable the beeping or turn off the LED. Things you don’t want the AC to be doing in a bedroom. After replacing old wifi module that was not supported with the new one, the app worked with AC. The only wish that remains is unresolved is adding support for Apple Homekit and Shortcuts. ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-09-13* I’m so glad Cooper & Hunter finally added the smart port option for slim ducted units. Now I can control the a/c with my smart phone even when I’m not home. Makes a huge difference! ### 5/5 — This is a good app! *2021-09-03* I don’t know why the instructions say to download NetHome Plus app instead of this one for a Cooper & Hunter mini split system. The USB wifi adapter itself is even branded C&H. Regardless, I ignored the instructions from the box and followed the instructions in the C&H app and everything worked perfectly during the setup process. Very simple. Then, to my surprise, the app actually works very well too! It has some really smart features like scheduling and an Express setting to quickly default to a combination of Mode (AC or Heat, etc + fan speed). I’m pretty sure I saw that the same Chinese developer who makes NetHome Plus also makes this C&H app, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on there, but this app is working well for me and is the same brand as the company name, so I’m going to keep using it unless something changes. I’m surprised there are so few reviews. The NetHome Plus app has more reviews but doesn’t have very good reviews on average, which is another reason I thought I would try the C&H app. Edit: I don’t see when it last got an update, while NetHome Plus got one 4 weeks ago, so maybe I should be using that one as it looks very similar. I don’t know! Hopefully this C&H app gets regular updates! When I compare screenshots in the App Store, the interfaces like identical. I just need to figure out how to use the unit with Alexa. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2025-06-16* It's a dream compared to where WiFi control of mini splits was even just a few years ago ago. The only problem I have is the instructions don't seem to "stick" very long. For instance it definitely immediately implements turbo mode on the unit but then a short time later it's off again. This could be the unit's time limit on turbo mode though which I can't find in the manual but my other 3 mini splits all have in some form or fashion. ### 4/5 — Good app, just a requested addition. *2024-08-28* No problem with the app. But… The function buttons at the bottom of the main page need some color when turned on. It looks a little like there might be some slight graying but it’s mostly just white buttons whether off or on. They need to change color when on. And maybe a short discretion of each item in the diagnostics page. Since version 1.3, Siri shortcuts have stopped working for this app. Please Fix!! ### 4/5 — Useful *2022-11-22* I use this app more than I use my phone. It is easy to use and has lots of features. Some of the text (like the outdoor and indoor temperatures) are so small they are almost unreadable. There is plenty of empty space on the screen. Please use a larger font. Also, I would like to be able to monitor all the temperatures in the system, not just the inside and outside temperatures.
