I had to replace the old wifi module with the new one, and after that the app started recognizing my AC. There’s only one thing that can be done in order to improve user experience: add Apple Homekit support and Shortcuts support. Процесс был невероятно сложным и утомительным. Официальное приложение Cooper&Hunter оказалось бесполезным – оно так и не смогло установить связь с устройством. Поиск кондиционера в сети занимал вечность, а сама сеть часто не обнаруживалась. Отсутствие инструкций по подключению к WiFi в руководстве пользователя – еще один минус. Чтобы подключить устройство, требуется указывать точное местоположение, хотя непонятно, зачем это нужно, ведь приложение и так получает доступ к сети, Bluetooth и паролям WiFi.
