## What is copa?

copa is a fantasy football app built for the 2026 International Tournament.

HOW IT WORKS
Each matchday, pick a 5-a-side squad from the players competing that day: a goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, attacker, and a wildcard. Your wildcard can be any outfield player, use it to double up on a position or chase a high-scoring game.

Points are awarded in real time based on official match statistics — goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, tackles, key passes, and more. Your squad locks the moment a player's match kicks off, so there's strategy in when you pick.

SCORING
Every action on the pitch earns points. Goals and assists score big. Clean sheets reward your goalkeeper and defender. Saves keep your GK relevant. Tackles, interceptions, and key passes reward the players who grind. Your captain earns 1.5x multiplier on their total score.

COMPETE WITH FRIENDS
Create a private league and share the invite code with your friends. Everyone picks their squad each matchday, points accumulate across the tournament, and the leaderboard updates live as matches are played. The winner takes the prize at the end.

LIVE UPDATES
copa pulls real match statistics as games are played. Watch your squad score points in real time as goals go in, assists are recorded, and clean sheets are kept. Push notifications alert you when your players score or get carded.

PROJECTED POINTS
Not sure who to pick? copa uses a rolling 5-game average of each player's recent international performances to project their points for the next match. The player picker sorts by projected points so the best picks are always at the top.
