### 1/5 — Isn’t free.

*2024-11-18, version 6.2.1*

Don’t recommend

### 1/5 — Can’t trust

*2024-08-15, version 6.1.3*

This app changed its policies without informing anyone and it’s possible that my coparent did not receive texts for months. CoParenter is unable to assure me one way or another whether he received the texts and wants me to ask him! What?! We all know that doesn’t work in a high-conflict situation. I brought this up with them in November and they said they’d work on it. It’s now February. I thought this app was trustworthy and “court-approved”. Do not get this app. Updated: Several times, I have reached out. Months and months go by. There has been no resolution. I’ve paid for this app for 4 years and have tried to work with them. I wish I had gone with OFW. (8/2024)

### 1/5 — App is hard to navigate and they make it nearly impossible to cancel subscription

*2024-06-22*

I was automatically signed up for the subscription unknowingly by a third party and they have been charging my account even though I never used the app. I tried looking for a customer service number or website and there was none only a app to download. I tried canceling my subscription in the app and that doesn’t work I also tried emailing customer service and get no response if I could pick zero stars I would. Due to failure to communicate with customer and not providing a clear means of customer support.

**Developer response:** I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with your subscription and the difficulty in reaching customer support. I understand your frustration, and I want to resolve this for you quickly. Can you please provide the email associated with your account to support@coparenter.com? I'll ensure your subscription is canceled and process any eligible refunds.

### 1/5 — Unable to cancel subscription

*2024-02-16*

I had no idea that I had paid for this service until 3 days before I had to cancel when I was notified via email. The email states I must cancel by using the app, but when I download the app and click on “Cancel Subscription” neither of the two options provided give me the ability to cancel the subscription. Clicking on “Cancel” cancels you out of the process of cancelling. Clicking on “Reset” kicks you off the open window and brings you back to the settings screen. No way to cancel. Sent an email to Coparenter Support to take action.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback here. When you click cancel in the app, it send us an email that timestamps your request and we process your cancelation as of that date. We do include information in the renewal email that also mentions that you can send an email to support@coparenter.com to cancel as well.

### 2/5 — App keeps crashing in iOS 17

*2023-10-08*

The texting feature keeps crashing and I have to start lengthy texts all over again. Very annoying.

**Developer response:** Hello, we are sorry to hear that you feel this way. We want to assure you that all of the mediation requests received in the app are worked on by certified mediators who have many years of experience. We understand that your mediation session was not as productive as you would like, but even when a mediation results in an impasse, the discussion around the topic can often result in the parties considering options they have not considered before participating in mediation.

### 1/5 — It won’t let me log in after I verified my email.

*2023-08-04, version 5.8.5*

My Co-parent wanted to use this app. So I tried to set up an account and verified my email. Then I try to log in and it says I need to verify my email. So I go back to the verification email and it says expired. So I emailed support and they said that it’s verified and I can log in. Then it says to verify my email. So I tried a different email address and it was the same cycle of going nowhere. I don’t need this headache. So I will just keep my money and they can keep there app.

### 1/5 — Go with another application

*2023-07-31*

We have been trying to get our court ordered week on week off schedule entered into this application. We have provided the court order, we have both accepted the schedule in the application. There have been neurosis bugs in the calendar app and we are giving up on this app as this company and representatives are NOT EASY TO WORK WITH. We are caught in this loop where we keep having to approve our virt ordered schedule. We are done and now looking at my family wizard and two homes. Avoid the frustration and wasting your time trying to get this company to do what the courts have ordered.

### 1/5 — Try something else

*2023-05-09, version 5.6.9*

The issue with the app is one thing. The issues and difficulties with customer support is where the real fun starts. Your coparenting/children talks are important. Spend your money on something useful instead and use a different service.

### 2/5 — UI/UX is Great functionality in the real world Terrible

*2023-04-14, version 5.6.9*

It looks and feels gray but being able to use this in a legal sense is horrendous. You are unable to pdf things easily, the expenses are difficult to search through, the ability to even grab screen shots it’s a pain because of the over scale and you can’t get the whole screen shot in one. It’s a lawyers nightmare. No desktop login/version for the end user.

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2023-02-06*

Doesn’t allow calling which would be useful. With a. Record. So the other CoParent can’t say you never tried calling etc. the app will say there is a notification even when I don’t have one and then when you do you open the app and it won’t load. So you close out of it then it makes you log in. Again and again. And no Face ID or anything. But when it works it’s ok once you figure it out kinda.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback. We are always looking to improve the app and the experience that our users have and this information is valuable to us.

### 2/5 — Still Mediocre

*2023-01-20, version 5.6.6*

The notification doesn’t go away and it’s been a problem for over a year. But the new update made it worse, as when I open up the Messages window from a new message, their is no identifier as to which chat has a new message! It also took away the ability to see when something had been opened/read.

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2022-12-03, version 5.5.8*

I didn’t even mean to sign up for this app subscription, it was added on by online divorce .com. I sent 3 emails asking to be unsubscribed and not to renew and I was just billed $19.99. Absolutely pathetic that you’re scamming people like this in the middle of complex litigation. I requested a refund and if it isn’t issued, I’m filing fraud charges and a complaint with the BBB. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

### 1/5 — Removing features with no notice

*2022-10-08, version 5.3.8*

Latest update went in. Without notice the journal functionality which I had been using for last year to meticulously document issues co parenting was removed without notice!

### 1/5 — Subscribe

*2022-08-22, version 5.3.2*

Already subscribed and paying for subscription Kees logging me off and wants me to subscribe and pay again … I’d give no stars if I could

### 1/5 — Do not buy this app!!!

*2022-06-16*

I signed up for this app solely for the “mediation” aspect. There was absolutely no mediation though. It was an open chat with my high conflict ex with no support or ground rules. Occasionally, the “mediator” would link articles from the internet about how to handle conflict. Then they would ask us if we had reached an agreement. At one point my ex said that they should be able to “call me out as they see fit and then walk away.” The mediator actually put this into their next agreement and acted shocked that i would not agree. Clearly, that session was not mediated. Much less monitored. On top of that, nothing in that “mediation” is court admissible. What this app has done is given my abuser a safe place to harass me once again. Without consequence. I signed up for this app because I thought I would receive help and support. Instead, it gave free license to my abuser to, once again, abuse me. When I contacted the app to report the issue I was told that they saw nothing wrong with the session. I pointed out the name calling, inflammatory language, and the fact that their mediator actually put some of it into an agreement. I was told that they “didn’t see those parts”. The person reviewing my session didn’t even read the whole thing!!! Unacceptable is putting it mildly.

**Developer response:** Hello, we are very sorry that you had this experience with the app and our mediation team. We stive to provide the best possible value to our customers but allowing access to unlimited mediation through the app. We would love to work with you through this so that we can achieve a better outcome. If you would be open to a one-on-one coaching session with one of our mediators, then you and our mediation team can work together to help you with your agreement with your co-parent. Please let us know if we can assist you in having a better experience.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2022-03-03, version 5.2.3*

You would think an app that charges more than the cost of an Amazon Prime Membership would at least work… that was not the case in the 20 minutes I spent trying to set the app up. That’s gonna be a nope from me…
Fix the app and I “might” raise the rating

### 3/5 — Update

*2022-02-01, version 5.2.3*

What ever happened the last update notification bubble does not go away. And when you uninstall and log in the old notification bubbles come back and if I turn off notifications the turn on the same thing happens. App is good but need that fixed since it give false info towards new or old notifications

### 3/5 — Issues logging in

*2022-01-29*

Hi there,

I’ve been reaching out to support and they have given me the emails to reset my password, don’t so and then I have typed in my correct password and email and it looks like it’s logging in and then I end up back at the login screen. It says I have 3 messages and I can’t get in at all. I emailed support yesterday trying to ask about it and no one got back to me.

I just need to be able to get in so if someone could fix it or get back to me that would be great:) thank you:)

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Support is Not Responsive

*2026-05-08*

For three days, I’ve logged support calls that the app doesn’t allow calendar entries to be input or changed when a time of day is selected. If the event is for a full day the entry can be entered. With proper testing, this error should have been detected with the last upgrade/modification. Support is non-responsive and there is no log showing I’ve logged the issue. Users cannot go this long without entering data into the system. The annual service fee is very high, the app is not sophisticated enough for high conflict legal matters and now support calls are non responsive. Feeling very stuck and currently wishing a different coparenting app was selected.

### 1/5 — Awful support

*2026-03-21*

One of the worst app you will find, no accountability creating bugs on their own app.

### 1/5 — Run from the APP and DO NOT BUY!

*2026-03-17*

I can’t say enough bad things about the issue I am in. I have been using Co Parenter for 5 years without issue. The APP itself is good but I am currently not able to log in and customer service has ghosted me. I have a judge needing this information and I have emailed for weeks with no results. For such an expensive app, the “we’re a small team” only goes so far. It’s ridiculous and they will leave you stranded. I have no other choice but to switch to their largest competitor. Go to Our Family Wizard before you ever spend a dime on this APP.

### 1/5 — Unreliable app with nonexistent support.

*2026-01-07*

This app is marketed as a serious tool for co-parenting communication, but in practice it fails where reliability matters most.

The biggest issue is support. Every time I contact them, it feels like they don’t even understand what I’m saying. I clearly explain the problem, and then I get asked the same basic questions again as if no one actually read the message. When the app stopped generating transcripts for long chats (around 800 pages), I reached out multiple times. I received one reply saying they’re a small team and they’ll get to it when they can. That was it. No timeline. No workaround. No follow-up. There’s no phone number to call, and even the in-app issue reporting feature has never resulted in any response for me.

The technical problems don’t stop there. The calendar is frequently glitchy, and there’s a major design flaw where the person who creates an event can later delete it even after it’s happened, effectively erasing the record. For an app that’s supposed to provide accountability and documentation, that’s a serious problem.

If you need something dependable for high-conflict co-parenting or legal documentation, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This app feels half-finished, poorly supported, and not suited for situations where accuracy and records actually matter.

### 1/5 — Log in not working

*2025-05-26, version 6.3.2*

Been using this app for 7 years. Friday is stopped working. Reached out to support with no response. No idea what’s going on.

### 1/5 — Horrible customer service

*2025-05-26, version 6.3.2*

I have not had access to this app for 4 days. I have sent multiple emails, that is the only way to contact customer support. I have not received any help or even an acknowledgment of me needing help. Do not get this app. Always very glitchy regardless of upgrades as well. I want my money back!

### 1/5 — So many issues

*2025-05-26, version 6.3.2*

The issues are non stop. Currently I can’t even sign in to my app to retrieve important info. There are so many other options for this app. Please do yourselves a favor and learn from my mistakes…Don’t let their response of complaint if support fool you.

### 1/5 — Issues with loggin

*2025-05-24, version 6.3.2*

I’m just tired of the random sign offs and issues getting signed in. Keep getting a “issue occurred”.

### 1/5 — This app is trash!

*2025-05-04, version 6.3.0*

This app constantly logs you out, crashes regularly, and randomly deletes entire conversations. If you enjoy unreliable access and losing your data, this is the perfect app for you. Bonus: they charge a solid monthly fee for the experience.

### 1/5 — A huge waste of time

*2025-02-05, version 6.2.5*

This app is basically just expensive text messaging. The mediator does nothing, the calendar and search functions don’t work properly. It’s pointless. If you have a hostile ex, this app will only serve to make it worse.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent app for high conflict

*2025-03-21, version 6.2.7*

This app has been thought out exceptionally well to help mitigate or document for high court conflict.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend this app

*2022-12-14, version 5.6.2*

This app is extremely helpful! The tech support quickly emails answers any issues and works on improvement suggestions from us users regularly. The app has live mediators that offer both mediation to parents trying to resolve disagreements; as well as individual coaching which can be so helpful. Calendar, expenses, coordination, requests, agreements, etc are offered. 3rd party family members/team can also join for individual or group discussion/etc.
It’s an excellent app.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review! This means a lot to us that you are enjoying the app and all of its features.

### 5/5 — So. Worth. It.

*2021-01-15*

I am so glad the Judge had us switch to this one! The ability to have a mediator IN the messages, on your phone/device is amazing. I have used the private coaching to get ideas of how to approach subject and wording, the mediation with my co parent and every single time the Mediators involved are kind, considerate and non biased. I recommend this app over another I have used, to anyone, any day- This app is easy to document, easy to share expenses and easy to follow messages. 5+ stars for sure!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-04-12, version 3.2.9*

user friendly and great app for high conflict divorces. Helps parents focus on their kids.

### 5/5 — Yunkyunk07

*2020-04-08, version 3.2.9*

So far it’s decent

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2020-03-24*

I LOVE THIS APP! 10/10 would recommend. It’s obviously not going to solve your issues for you... but for people who are committed to improving their coparenting relationship and are open to change their own behaviors and reactions, this app is perfect. It just takes ONE parent to decide they want to improve the relationship for the sake of the child/children and it can dramatically improve your kiddos lives. BE THAT PARENT! Keep trying! It’s reassuring to know that I can always reach out to one of the mediators and have a one on one session and gain feedback that helps. Since using the app, I feel like I’m slowly gaining my “peace” back, and that makes it worth every penny!

### 5/5 — Co parent app

*2020-03-22, version 3.2.9*

This app is the best co parent app, it’s very informational as well things I was not aware of as a co parent and a parent in general are all included in this app under different articles that you may be able to relate to and there’s always a mediator or coach available very unbiased and so helpful

### 5/5 — Wonderful mediators who care and empathize with you.

*2020-02-07, version 3.2.9*

These people actually care and try to help you do what’s best for your children.

### 5/5 — Always there to help

*2020-01-17, version 3.2.7*

This app has been amazing. Help is always there. Keeps you from engaging with your coParent when it doesn’t create a healthy relationship. Mediators, coaches and others are there to help in a group setting or just one on one. I am definitely going to keep using it.

### 5/5 — Amazing Counsel!!

*2019-11-18*

Going through a divorce is traumatic, especially when there are children involved. Dealing with the other parent to figure out parenting time while trying to make sure your children are happy is difficult. I have received advice from the professionals at CoParenter which has helped me tremendously! Their counsel has been truly effective and has made me focus on my children’s needs instead of allowing my emotions to get in the way. I would recommend CoParenter to anyone!!
