It worked. Big savings. ### 5/5 — Excellent purchase for our visit! *2024-06-10, version 1.7.0* Originally we planned on using this card for a couple days when we wanted to visit the various attractions supported by it. In the end we worked out that it would have been cheaper to get the card for the entire trip, and we are glad we did! This card supports all the best public transport in the city, making getting around feel like you are in a small village. Some of the attractions we planned for, others we just did on a whim. The day we arrived in Copenhagen the House of Carlsberg had joined the Copenhagen Card scheme, this was probably our favourite attraction in the end, along with the Vikingskipmuseet located outside of the city in Roskilde, which was no problem to get to because the card supports the direct train to get there and back! Overall we loved this card, if you are a proactive type and want to fit a lot of activities in your trip you can’t go wrong with this card. One tip I have would be to take a screenshot of your travel and attraction passes, so you can easily display them when needed, a lot easier then going through the app, and solves the issue a previous review mentioned of a forced system update. ### 5/5 — The best choice for a short trip! *2024-02-18, version 1.6.4* It is very convenient! The card covers the best places in Copenhagen and the public transport, and also the trip to/from the airport. Fantastic! Definite recommendation ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Museum did not honor card *2025-10-04, version 1.7.7* The Design Museum said they were not allowing any Copenhagen Cardholders entry into the museum at 4 pm even though the museum closed at store and people were leaving. They were completely inflexible even for tourists who would not have another opportunity to visit. What is the point of such a card if a museum can deny you entry without any notice? This museum should know how to better manage itself or not participate in the Copenhagen Card program. ### 1/5 — Could not purchase *2024-08-28, version 1.7.2* Multiple US credit cards and apple pay got declined. We could not manage to purchase it. ### 1/5 — Impossible to get refund *2024-08-22, version 1.7.2* I purchased cards for 2 adults and 1 child. The App gave me option to activate the card with no warning that the card is actually working on a countdown basis. I received an email that warned me against activating the card until ready to travel but it was too late - I saw this after I’d used the app and activated the card in error. It appears many people make this mistake as it’s covered in their FAQ’s, where it advises that you can get a refund if the card hasn’t been used, however, I have spent 2 days trying to sort this via email as there is no customer service number. I just keep receiving automated responses asking for my ref no which I’ve now sent 3 times!!! Still no refund and I now think the only way I may get a refund is to turn up to the office in Copenhagen. 😡😡 I’m sure the card is great, but ensure you do not activate the card until you travel and be warned that there is zero customer service and limited means of resolving any issues. ### 1/5 — Complicated, frustrating and not user friendly *2023-08-06, version 1.6.2* If you must, be sure to buy the card only through the App. And then only buy one card. Do not buy for more than one person. I wish I had not bought the 5 day card. It would have been better not to have bought it and just to have turned up at the venues and paid in the normal way. Copenhagen is a wonderful city with kind, friendly, honest and helpful citizens. What a shame my stay was spoilt by my purchase of this infuriating card. ### 1/5 — Card *2023-04-08, version 1.6.1* Does not work on phone ### 1/5 — Idiotic forced update *2023-02-20, version 1.6* Opened the app today when I was stopped to show my ticket on the Metro. The app showed a forced update message, redirected me to the App Store to download the new version, all while the ticket inspector was waiting. What an idiotic idea to force app updates for a travel card app. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-08-22, version 1.3.5* Purchase in the App doesn’t work.
