I had to type the GPS coordinates before leaving home ### 3/5 — European Trip *2026-07-13, version 10.28.2.391* Oh dear. I researched a number of Motorhome apps that enable vehicle dimensions to be entered to assist route choice and this app was always highly rated. Took a punt at it for £25 but has been a mistake. Couldn’t download maps first of all. It then did so after an uninstall/install. Then it wouldn’t download Swiss maps. Not great when you’re in Switzerland for 2 weeks. The helpline did offer advice via this 3rd party kind of helpdesk facility and I just gave up after that, too much faff and went back to google maps that has never let us down, nice and simple and a much better non-AI voice feedback. Just need to keep a lookout for low bridges! Oh, and I couldn’t get this to work on CarPlay; an essential ask for navigation. This still feels like a Beta version, which is ok, just not at £25. ### 4/5 — Good app but should be added to CarPlay *2026-06-27* All good but it would be nice to have integration in CarPlay. Un -2026: Any new on CarPlay integration? ### 3/5 — Lacking highway moving speed *2026-06-25* “Please add an option to display the current GPS moving speed alongside the posted speed limit in the iPad version of CoPilot Truck. This is a standard feature on dedicated truck GPS units and is important for professional drivers.” Also I noticed that the map doesn't expand to take up the entire screen of an 11 inch iPad. And also please add Range Road and Township Road Numbers... please fix these issues As soon as possible. ### 2/5 — Unusable *2026-06-25, version 10.28.2.391* Update 2026: Redownloaded and tried again. Got a map this time but the route it’s just proposed is preposterous! Straight down an unsuitable track that’s only used by trail and quad bikes. Utterly useless! Deleted yet again… I’ve had this for years and had to delete maps a while back. Tried to redownload maps and despite having 40+GB on my phone I can’t download less than 5GB of maps!!! ITS NOW POINTLESS!! ### 3/5 — Apple carplay *2026-06-18, version 10.28.2.391* First contacted them March 2024 asking when carplay will be added. June 2026! still waiting and still NO actual ready date! ### 2/5 — Broken promises *2026-06-17, version 10.28.2.391* Promised CarPlay for years and still not there. Shame as I used to recommend to other caravan users but can no longer do that as I no longer trust the developer to actually do their job. So must assume this will be left behind for good. Was happy to pay but will now have to cancel my annual subscription. -update- developer promised this will be there ‘this quarter’ which would be Q1 2026. But I have emails promising it by end of 2025, and also email promising it by end of 2024…. So let’s see if this is the 3rd broken promise? -next update- it’s now June 26 and another deadline and another promise broken. Where is v11 on iPhone with CarPlay support? Why is there no reply from the ‘developers’… ### 2/5 — Cannot be trusted *2026-05-29, version 10.28.2.391* After touring France, UK, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium in our motorhome I can say it’s sent us on some weird and worrying routes….. including country road I could just fit on and directing us into someone’s garden….. I just don’t trust it now. I don’t think I’ll renew in all honesty. ### 2/5 — No CarPlay *2026-05-29, version 10.28.2.391* Always liked copilot but sadly there is no CarPlay which is a must nowadays with most fitted with this capability. The interface hasn’t changed much at all and I would have liked to have seen the posted mph with your current mph next to it rather than at the bottom of the display. If il driving, its very important for me to not only see the direction but hear them as well. I’ve had to remove and redownload the app because the voice is not working (and yes I’ve made sure mute is off and volume is turn all the way up) it also sucks that I have manually type in the address. It would be better if I could just copy and paste ### 3/5 — Disappointing *2026-05-21, version 10.28.2.391* I’ve had this app for a few years, and found it helpful when towing my caravan. Recently i accidentally deleted the app, after just paying for an another year’s caravan subscription, but upon reinstalling the App and supposedly my licences, it’s now just a car app. No opportunity to input my caravan dimensions. No mention of caravan. So that’s money wasted ### 3/5 — Great, but… *2026-05-16, version 10.28.2.391* I’ve been using this app for years, like the routes given, usually keeps me out of trouble such as restrictions and low bridges. Needs a make over, feels and looks outdated, CarPlay functionally is long overdue. Would be great if there was some sort of improvement. The route choice is in my opinion one of the best, have TomTom go on my phone and trust Copilot route over TomTom. It’s always been regularly updated in the past with new features using the latest technology but this no longer seems to be the case on iOS. I’ve read the other reviews where they say we’re finally getting CarPlay support. I sorely hope we’re getting at least some of the many missing features I noticed when trying out Copilot on my friends Android device. It’s pretty telling when Hammer, a competitor that was free until just a couple of months ago and still costs half of what the truck version of Copilot does even now, has had those features and more for literally years. As much as I like this app, it’s severely out of date at this point and needs to get with the times. ### 2/5 — CoPilot for iPadOS 26 *2026-05-02, version 10.28.2.391* Please fix the Contact support for the iPad. Since the last update, the Contact support is missing. The support for iPhone is there but missing for the iPad. This is very frustrating as I have to copy and paste ow with the iPad and that’s my primary device. Pathetic ### 1/5 — Copilot CarPlay compatibility is never going to happen! *2026-06-07, version 10.28.2.391* Prove me wrong. The lack of CarPlay support has been dragging on for three years. I've looked through the reviews and replies and it was promised as long ago as 'by the end of 2024' then 'by the end of 2025' and most recently, 'by the end of this quarter' meaning by the end of March 2026. It's June 2026 as I type - near the end of the second quarter. It feels like it is never going to happen and the last revenue is being wrung out of a dying app. Personally, I have been waiting over two years and have been relying on my car's built in but inferior SatNav and Google Maps via CarPlay because getting audio output from Copilot on my iPhone 16 is rarely possible. What bemuses me is that CarPlay compatible Copilot was supposedly going to be available at least 18 months ago and the developer has failed to deliver. Don’t change to Android style *2025-10-02, version 10.28.2.391* CoPilot has been one of the bright spots of switching to Apple. When you switched to the completely different UI it was rough. I use app daily for work and it was borderline unusable. Eventually loaded old version .apk and shut off updates. Came to iPhone where side loading doesn’t exist and app was good old CoPilot I was used to. Not sure why it hasn’t been updated but so glad it isn’t and here begging you not to. Felt like you were trying to compete with Maps and Google more which I get, but to me what sets you apart is the ease of routing. Should be entire focus of R&D.
