This is a great app for accurately logging activity and keeping a mobile data base on your smart phone of those you contact in the field. It borderlines being too complicated but I totally understand the designer trying to pack in as much cool stuff as they can. I did run into one problem. The app crashes when I try to utilize the Add Person feature. Very user friendly and easy to make it work to just about any police work you may be doing. If there was a problem, they fix it. If you have an idea, they look at it and many times, use it. It's editable entries feature let's one pit as much detailed info as seared, and it's archiving features make it a great reference tool for follow-ups. Support from the developer(s) is fast and thorough if needed. The upcoming updates will seemingly make the app that much more suitable as an indispensable tool for the field; I simply email the archived log to myself, print it out, and submit it at shift end... No more fumbling for pens, notepads, or misplaced paperwork. Plus why are there ads with a paid app? Once I pressed the email button the whole app shut down and it went to my iPhone desktop. I can see it is a good app and can be customized to my needs. CopLogger3 accurately records all the data from my shift each day and gives me a great resource file for filing my final shift reports. Plus the emailed copies remain cached in my personal and work emails in case I need to refer to them whether I'm in the office or about to take the witness stand! This is a great and ever expanding app that makes my shift so much easier! ### 4/5 — Ads *2013-01-24, version 3.40* This app is good I like it, I can customize it anyway I like. Wish our department would see the sense in using something as simple ad this. ### 4/5 — Good So Far *2012-10-30, version 3.40* Used it for one shift on a couple of basic jobs. Useful once the custom buttons are tweaked to the requirements of your individual department. Only problem I identified is one that can't be fixed by the app. If I'm writing in a notebook and the defendant kicks off its much easier to throw the notebook on the ground and go hands on than throw my phone on the ground. The only other feature I would like to see is an in app button to activate the memo recorder for recording offenders as I warn/ speak to them. ### 4/5 — Nice *2011-11-17, version 3.40* Very customizable and very easy to use.
