Customer service has been a nightmare. Save yourself some money and use a speech to text program instead, cheaper and probably more accurate. ### 1/5 — This is arguably the worst app from a company ever created *2017-09-19, version 2.9.3* Love this service and use it daily. However there are Issues with the app that need to be fixed: - Ive used copytalk for almost 10 years now. Recently, I have had to download, delete and then re-download the app multiple times because dictations are getting hung up in pending and never transcribe. This turns copytalk into a time waster instead of a time saver. Leaving the same dictation multiple times is frustrating annoying and wasteful. I went from rating this a two star to a one star. Copytalk- you literally have ONE function- listen and transcribe. What good is your app if it is incapable of doing that? ### 1/5 — Be careful of this service *2015-06-04, version 1.12.00* The app isn't terrible although the interface is a bit outdated. my problem is with the service itself. I signed up for a week long trial of this service back in January. I liked it but for my business/volume it wasn't worth the $50 a month price tag. I cancelled over the phone with my rep yet was continually billed monthly for over 5 ($250) months! When I finaly successfuly cancelled I was told all cancellations have to come in writing and they don't issue refunds. My feeling is this company is on its way out because voice dictation is offered everywhere now and milking all accounts they can get thier hands on. Those on trials of this service BEWARE. ### 1/5 — Don't trust with important information *2015-03-26, version 1.11.01* Have used copy talk for over about a year in a half. I would not trust them to deliver important information consistently. They have given me every excuse from technical issues, understaffed, or dealing with untrained people, dictations have taken 72 hours before, and some have been completely lost due to this app locking it in pending status. Even been told to use the app with the cell phone in airplane mode so the app functions properly! Wow if they put that much thought into the app it might work smooth. Also after going through the tech support it is interesting that each person paying for their service receives a different priority status regardless of what you pay per month. So if you are dealing with their less then mediocre service ask why others are on a expedited plan for no additional charge!!! If it were not for unlimited dictations they wouldn't have a client base, mobile assistant is much smoother but unfortunately doesn't have unlimited dictation YET. Hope they get it together and put some pressure on copy talk to step it up. Last words DONT TRUST THEM WITH IMPORTANT DICTATIONS!! ### 1/5 — Uploads still getting stuck *2015-03-26, version 1.11.01* Time to drop the Copytalk service. Please add the microphone into the keyboard. Thank you ### 4/5 — Much improved *2017-01-24, version 2.0.3* With the latest update and redesign, many previous issues seem to be fixed. Audio bleed over into dictation is gone, the app scales to iPad size, you may listen to your dictation before submitting it, and the general bugginess that used to be seems gone. Nice job on this well thought out, much-needed update! A five star rating for me would include the ability to back up and re-record sections before submitting dictation. ### 4/5 — Much improved but still needs work *2015-02-12, version 1.11.01* The current version is much improved from its predecessor however it still needs some work. Two main points of improvement would be first to integrate with Bluetooth Devices rather than just the speakerphone and second would be the ability to voice record the file name/description via a verbal cue, making it more hands free for use when driving. ### 3/5 — Almost great service *2014-09-29, version 1.11.01* Copytalk service is awesome.
