Consistently late, more expensive and less reliable than ever. ### 1/5 — Appsolutely useless *2024-01-09, version 35.1.0* Tried a dozen times to enter this app. Password resets are not working and if you try and reset by logging in with your mobile number it freezes completely ### 1/5 — App Unfit for Purpose *2023-10-01, version 34.3.23* This app is unable to correctly price journeys or take pre-payment. The company appears to believe this makes it acceptable for their cabs to either turn up late or not turn up at all. If they do turn up they’ll charge you double the price quoted on the app. I suspect they only actually assign a cab once you call the automated line to check why your car hasn’t turned up. I suggest avoiding Star Cars until they build an app that allows a customer to agree a price, reserve a taxi in advance of their journey and pay for it on the app. ### 1/5 — Wrong price *2023-07-29, version 34.3.23* They will give you one price and once you book they will ring you and double the price. ### 1/5 — Poor Service *2022-10-19, version 33.6.19* I have been a regular customer of this service for quite a while, generally not a bad service. As of tonight’s lack of service (19/10/22) I will not be using star cars again.
