I’m pretty frustrated I spent so much on an app that I have found little to no benefit out of. It seems every time I wanted to use it it needed to update the database and would just spin the apple wheel until I lost patience and switched it off. The update also made the video soundless. This is unacceptable for a paid product that is being kept active on the App Store. Are you guys going to fix this issue? **Developer response:** The app is wiring just fine. For some reason a star sight update doesn’t always work for everyone, but the easy fix for 99.9% of these cases is to delete the app and download a new version from the App Store. If that still doesn’t work, please reach out via our support page and we will help you get this working. Also, I've used this app in an educational setting and the videos add a lot to students' understanding. Worth the money. ### 5/5 — Easy to use reference for clinicians *2011-04-12, version 3.1* Most clinicians will already have their go to tests down, but this app has all of those and then some. This is a wonderful application for new clinicians to review the tests on the go as well as for students studying for the boards. This application gives the situations for when to best use the tests as well as evidence behind the tests. There are even videos to look at to review. This gives a variety of tests with video and evidence (when available) to help me find a new test to integrate into my exam or use when a diagnosis is unclear. The new iPad version provides an easy to use interface and the video quality looks great on the full screen. More tests continue to get added to this already comprehensive compendium. This app remains one of my most frequently used on my phone for clinical practice as well as teaching. I'll likely utilize this even more now that the iPad version is There is simply nothing else like this out there and CORE continues to set the standard for evidence-based orthopaedic apps. Ben Hando ### 5/5 — Excellent Clinical Resource *2010-12-20, version 3.1* Excellent clinical tool for discerning appropriate tests and measures in the clinic or reviewing outside. There is good structural organization by body region and clinical categories. Comprehensive explanations are provided via text and high quality demonstrative videos are linked. Supportive literature is provided for each test when available and evidence based tutorials and keys are provided for the novice EBP clinician. The number of tests can be a bit overwhelming, however, with minimal effort at looking at the available properties it is easy to select the most valuable procedures. There is an easy favorite tag feature to short-cup to commonly used tests or ones of special interest. Excellent resource for any clinician working with musculoskeletal complaints at all levels. If you are a medical professional with a smart phone who treats patients with orthopedic conditions, you will love this app. It is a concise, user-friendly application that provides detailed information about diagnostic special tests. The links to information on the tests' psychometric properties and the videos on how to perform the tests are what really make this app fantastic. There's no more wondering how good a special test is or if you're doing it the right way. With this app, you will have that information in the palm of your hand. I have shown this app to all of my colleagues who have all been blown away at the detailed information you get. If you are concerned about the price, consider the cost equivalent to purchasing a text. However, textbooks are cumbersome, outdated, and more expensive. This app will provide you better and more up-to-date information.
