Lead Boost – connect pentatonic positions into flowing solos

Rhythm Tightness – lock in timing with real song grooves

Fretboard Mastery – navigate the entire neck with confidence

Earn badges, track streaks, and see exactly how your guitar playing is improving over time.

FREE TOOLS

Pro Metronome with adjustable tempo and time signatures
Fret Lab – interactive scales, chords, and octave maps across the fretboard

Built by a self‑taught guitarist who broke the intermediate rut. No gimmicks, just focused guitar practice and exercises that work.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-07-24

Level Up Further, Free
Free players can now climb all the way to Level 5 (Intermediate) — the points cap jumped from 9,999 to 100,000 — and you'll see a celebration each time you level up along the way.

More Dependable Accounts & Progress
Behind-the-scenes improvements make your account and score tracking more reliable, so your practice, points, and streaks stay safe and in sync.

### 1.8 — 2026-07-11

Scale Note Memorization
A new four-level progression trains recall of a scale's notes — fill in hidden notes, spell the whole scale, then find every pitch on a blank fretboard.

Chord Note Memorization
Learn the notes in every chord (C Major = C, E, G) across three exercises, plus a "Quiz me" toggle in Fret Lab and a "Chords Memorized" tracker in your Stats.

Realistic Guitar Tones
Tapping a note in Fret Lab now plays a sampled acoustic steel-string guitar at the exact pitch and octave, ringing and decaying naturally — with a colored tap ripple so you can see what you played.

All 12 frets now fit on screen on every iPhone (no more clipped 12th fret), and the whole fret cell is tappable — easier to hit.

### 1.7 — 2026-06-26

New Fret Lab Triad Tool
Pick a root and quality (Major, Minor, Diminished, Augmented) and see chord tones light up across the neck — color-coded as Root, 3rd, and 5th. Use Outline Shapes to find compact, playable voicings on any string set, then play the three notes to grab the chord.

All Diatonic Scales Added
We've unlocked the complete diatonic family — all seven modes (Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian) plus Blues and Major/Minor.

Natural Fretboard Orientation
Fretboards now default to Low E on the bottom, just like looking down at your own guitar. Prefer it the other way? Flip it anytime with the Reverse toggle. Applies across Scales, Chords, Triads, and Octaves.

### 1.6 — 2026-04-28

New Skill Dashboard in your profile shows your strongest skills and what to practice next, synced across devices.
Added a filterable Exercise Library so you can find workouts by skill (bends, timing, theory, and more), alongside the guided Practice Tracks.
Upgraded the metronome timing for rock‑solid, sample‑accurate clicks that stay locked to the tempo.
Reminder banner now takes you straight into the correct Track and Day, keeping you in the flow of your current session.
Fixed several chord, scale, and quiz issues for more accurate theory training.

### 1.5.4 — 2026-04-18

New music theory exercises.
Bug Fixes.
