## What is Core Health Tracker?

Tell Core how long you have. It builds a real walking, running or cycling
route from where you are standing — a loop that brings you back to your own
front door — then guides you round it and logs the whole thing to Apple Health.

ROUTES THAT BRING YOU HOME
• Ask by time, distance or step count
• Every route is a loop, so there is no getting somewhere and working out how
  to get back
• Core learns how fast you actually walk, so thirty minutes means thirty
  minutes at your pace
• Turn-by-turn directions, live progress and the distance still to go
• A Live Activity on your Lock Screen, so you are not unlocking your phone
  mid-walk
• Save a loop you like and start it again any time
• Or skip the planning entirely and free roam with GPS

APPLE WATCH
• Start, pause and finish from your wrist
• Recorded as a proper workout, with heart rate and calories, in Apple Health

FOOD IN SECONDS
• Log by voice, by typing, by photographing your plate, or by scanning a barcode
• Calories, protein, carbs, fat and fibre, with portions you can correct
• Add or remove food on any day — a lunch you forgot, or meals planned for the
  week ahead
• Written straight to Apple Health alongside everything else

THE DAILY THINGS
• Steps, distance and calories, with streaks that notice when you keep showing up
• Water in a single tap
• Weight and BMI trends over time

ASK CORE
Type it or say it. "A 10,000 step walk." "A 5k run." "500ml of water."
"Chicken pasta for dinner." Core works out what you meant and gets on with it.

EVENTS
Join step and distance challenges, earn badges as you go, and share a recap of
a finished activity in the style you choose.

CORE FREE AND CORE PREMIUM
Core is free to start, including 10 routes, 10 food photo analyses and 20
assistant messages. Core Premium removes those limits and is available monthly
or yearly.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the
end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings at any time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-08-20

Core now opens on an overview.

• One screen for how the day is going — three activity rings for steps, running and cycling, your calorie gauge and water bottle side by side, your weight trend, and any event you have joined.
• Ask Core sits at the top, so a question is never more than a tap away.
• On the Free plan, what you have left for the month is the first thing you see.

Weight has moved in with Food and Water.

• All three now live under one tab, so everything you put in or read off your body is in the same place.

Setup is quicker.

• Two short pages instead of one long one: your measurements, then your goals.
• No more BMI question — Core works it out from your target weight and height.
• Running and cycling targets are now optional. If you only walk, you no longer carry two weekly goals you never meant to set.
• Fixed the page dots sitting on top of the Start Core button.

Plans are easier to compare.

• Free and Premium as tabs, then monthly against yearly side by side, with the yearly saving worked out for you.
• Choosing a plan and choosing how to pay for it are two separate steps now.

Also in this release.

• Sign up asks for your password before the optional referral code.
• The subscription screen in Settings no longer repeats your current plan three times before showing you how to change it.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-15

Core’s activity tracking, AI and Apple Watch experience have received a major upgrade.
Improved Free Roam tracking for walks, runs and rides, with consistent live statistics including speed or pace, elevation, heart rate, distance, duration and calories.
Completed activities now appear in a private route diary and can be opened, shared, saved and repeated.
Optional private route sync automatically protects recorded routes after one clear account-level choice. Routes always save to the iPhone first.
Improved Apple Watch workout syncing, live activity updates and step complications.
More personalised Core AI conversations, recipes and answers based on the user’s tracked Core data.
Added chat search and restored suggested actions when starting a new conversation.
Improved Siri command reliability, including support for logging water in litres.
Added custom Pace Coach alerts for notifying users when they fall behind their target.
Improved activity share cards and photo layouts.
Faster loading and reduced memory usage for saved GPS routes.
Additional account security, reliability improvements and bug fixes.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-11

Free Roam now records complete live walking, running and cycling statistics, including your route on the map.
Start and track Free Roam workouts using Apple Watch and Live Activities.
Save completed routes, revisit detailed activities from your route diary and share improved recap cards.
Meet Core’s new animated AI companion, with improved conversational understanding and more personalised recipes, plans and insights.
Ask Core AI questions about your recorded activity and progress.
Search previous AI conversations and easily begin a new chat.
Customise Pace Coach alerts to tell you when you are falling behind your target.
Improved Siri support for logging meals and water—including litres—and creating timed or distance-based routes.
Faster activity storage, smoother performance and reliability improvements throughout the app.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-06

Free Roam gets a proper live view.

• Live Activity — your walk, run or ride now shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can check distance, time and pace without unlocking your phone.
• Heart rate from Apple Watch — start the activity and your watch runs a real workout alongside it, feeding live heart rate back to Core and saving to Apple Health.
• Finish whenever you like — ending an activity no longer waits until you have covered enough ground. Started it by mistake? Just finish and go.
• Save route now works properly. Saved activities appear under the bookmark on Walk, Run and Cycle, and starting one again follows the line you actually walked.

Share cards, rebuilt.

• A new Photo style puts your own picture behind your stats.
• Your route is drawn as a clean outline rather than a map, so you can share where you went without sharing where you live.
• Any shape of photo now fits the card properly — landscape, panorama or portrait.
• Pick a style in one tap.

A sharper assistant.

• Core now runs on a faster model, and Premium allowances have gone up a long way with it: 300 routes, 1,200 assistant messages, 250 food photos and 1,200 barcode and nutrition lookups a month.
• Ask for a workout, some motivation or a health question and you get a real answer to what you asked, instead of the same stock reply.
• Ask for a weight plan at a set pace — "lose 1kg a week" — and Core plans for that pace, tells you when it is faster than it will safely aim for, and says what it is doing instead.
• Asking for help logging something now gets you a question back, not a guessed meal.

Also in this release.

• Tap any completed activity in your Walk, Run or Cycle diary to open it again — the route, the numbers and the share card.
• Clearer sign-up emails, with a nudge to check your spam folder if the code does not arrive.
• A tidier diary, with the duplicate route list removed.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-03

Track walks, runs and rides with richer live stats, including elevation, heart rate from Apple Watch, speed, distance, calories and time.
Enjoy clearer, evenly spaced live activity layouts built for each activity.
Share improved activity cards tailored to walking, running and cycling.
Find saved walks, runs and rides in their own activity sections.
See real progress stages while Core handles AI requests.
Improved Apple Watch syncing so your latest route and live data are ready without old routes replaying when you open the app.
Simplified the Apple Watch complication to keep your daily steps front and centre.
General reliability and performance improvements.
