I never feel cheated, disappointed from corebtr at the price i got the course. One scope of improvement is required in “one device policy”, if by chance you lost your phone/ipad or want to buy new device then this policy doesn’t allow you to do so, there should be SOME T&C to “one device policy” for people who are genuinely need to switch to another device. **Developer response:** Your support means a lot to us. However, I feel it lacks better customization options for bookmarks and dedicated PYQ sections for each subject. I lost my registered phone number, so I was unable to log in to CoreBTR and faced many issues. Since CoreBTR is a new app, I had little hope of receiving the OTP on my email like in Cerebellum. However, within 24 hours, the support team contacted me and helped me manually log in to my CoreBTR account. I am very happy with their support. Mam has put all important features of top apps in one place. Videos, mcqs, pyqs, tests, discussions and guidance about how to approach videos is very helpful. Some minor bugs are there but hopefully theyl be resolved soon since the app is new launch. This app gives you the right push and seeing Mam do so much hardwork makes you strive for better! I have to turn off the fan and AC just to hear properly. • There is no response from the support team on WhatsApp. • The app lacks a good interface, whereas the Marrow app is much smoother. • Background updates are not available, unlike in the Marrow app. • You cannot download more than 10 videos, which means you need Wi-Fi again and again. **Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear about your experience. However, I’m currently unable to access the app as promised. What’s more frustrating is the complete lack of response from the support team. My messages have gone unanswered, and calls are not being attended. For a platform that actively promotes new subscriptions, ignoring existing users raises serious concerns about customer care. I’m not asking for anything beyond what was promised. I simply expect transparent communication and timely support. However, I am unable to log in because the OTP is being sent only to my old registered mobile number, which I no longer have access to. Despite multiple attempts to contact support, there has been no proper resolution. Cerebellum redirected me to CoreBTR, and CoreBTR has not responded. Please reach out to us at tech@corebtr.com, and our support team will assist you further. ### 2/5 — The app crashes and just stops whilst playing videos; very poor explanations for pyq; qbanks *2026-07-10* The app crashes and just stops whilst playing videos- one has to refresh repeatedly; which is a huge lapse- also not allowing two screens to be used simultaneously- hinders students from seamlessly watching videos and solving questions; the explanations for questions are subpar; there should be more information added; so it’s a comprehensive learning device. There should be an option to restart a qbank from where you left off without your progress getting erased if you start other qbanks midway simultaneously. The grand /mini tests should have option to move to the next set of questions without forcibly having to do it over a long period because everyone has their own pace and strategy & it causes a waste of time. **Developer response:** We’re sorry for the trouble you’ve faced. My account has been blocked multiple times simply because I took screenshots for personal study purposes while using Split View on my iPad. Sometimes BTR wasn’t even the active window. Other coaching apps block the content, not the entire account. Repeated account suspensions disrupt studying and require contacting support every time. Please reach out to us at tech@corebtr.com, and our support team will assist you further. ### 2/5 — Some major issues still remain unfixed *2026-04-27* 1) Video gets paused when I slide down my iPad menu bar to change volume or brightness, and it doesn’t automatically plays back..it remains paused + it changes from full screen to a smaller window 2) Earphones: the video pauses with my earphones but it doesn’t play back, it’s not an issue for me with other apps and I’ve heard other users using different earbuds brands complain abt the same 3) Homepage again n again- if I go to another app while using coreBTR the screen remains in position for like 5 mins, if I take longer than that it redirects to the Homepage! It’s a major issue if someone is writing online notes along the vid, or if we want to look something up on the Internet 4) Auto Resolution- with the new update I’m unable to change the quality of the video, I can’t watch the video on Auto all the time, the quality gets poor 5) A request to bring HIDE ANSWER/SHOW ANSWER for test reviews, so that we can attempt the ques we skipped and see if we can guess the right ans while reviewing the test only (it’s a difficult job to look for the ques again from the library and then guess the ans, also then what’s the point if I have already seen the correct ans marked out in the review of test) 6) Guessed Qs - there’s an option to mark Qs that I’ve guessed while doing the test but there’s no way knowing which ones I marked as Guessed AFTER I finish my test, if u could pls tag in those Qs too, that would be of great help to know if we did guess smth correctly. Please write to us at tech@corebtr.com with your registered details and a brief description of the issue, and our team will look into it on priority. ### 2/5 — app experience can be significantly improved *2026-04-07* the app doesn’t properly support earphones, the content can be paused through earphones but can’t play again. it’s not a glitch in my earphones i checked w other apps and disconnected and reconnected them as well. the rewind and fast forward features should not just be restricted to the small circles in which they appear on screen since it makes it very touch to go back multiple sets of 10s at once and you’ve to press once and wait and then do the same again. the app also crashes in the middle of the video sometimes although it isn’t so frequent w me it is an area which can be looked into. the content has been significantly increased in length and depth which is ideal since the doubt of if its enough it vanquished however the integration of things has still been less than ideal as this could’ve been a great time to bring everything related to a topic in one place rather than studying path features in one video, radiological appearance in one and the treatment aspect in another (ESPECIALLY REFERENING BONE TUMOURS) **Developer response:** We’re sorry for the trouble you’ve faced. The interface is clean, easy to navigate, and the content is well organized. Finding lectures, notes, and tests is straightforward, and the app generally performs well. The feature I love the most is the test interface. It feels very similar to the actual exam environment. The option to take mini tests also on web portal is especially useful because it gives u a real exam-like experience using the web portal on PC or ipad. A few things that could be improved: • Video playback sometimes has glitches and occasional stutters. • The video quality automatically drops despite having a stable high-speed internet connection. • Even after manually selecting a higher resolution, the app sometimes switches to a lower quality on its own. • The streaming algorithm seems a bit aggressive in reducing quality, which can be frustrating during lectures. Other than these issues, the app offers a solid learning experience and has become one of my regular study tools. If the video playback and quality selection issues are fixed, it would easily deserve a higher rating. **Developer response:** Your support means a lot to us. If u have any other query , just tell them .. they will solve as soon as possible . But the thing that I don’t like is there tech support team . They are noob people who doesn’t even respond timely and don’t know anything, if u ask them anything they simply do ChatGPT and answer that via direct copy paste . Man ! I can also do that ! And as I told u in my previous review about sudden video quality drops while watching video is still persistent In iPads . There should be an option to just start solving question without choosing no of questions or practice tutor mode. There should be another option of just start solving eg there 70 question in obs means i can solve them just like that and when i close the tab it should be automatically saved in 31 question wheee i keft and could resume from there. All the work to analyse trends and simplify information has been done for us. There were some topics that I had struggled with throughout MBBS, which were simplified and explained in a way that I’ll never forget.
