The app advertises itself as a good way to find alternative recommendations in new places, but the onboarding asks you to rate all of the most popular spots (Pike Place Market, The Pink Door, etc.) which tells me the app has a massive data issue. If they are dependent on user input, then the app will never work because who would choose to build their DB when the information is already on Google/Apple Maps? The UI is somewhat flashy, but it’s more of a distraction than an enhancement in this context.

Love the idea of this platform, app is slick and reviews seem genuine. I’ve had a good time contributing but have found that my profile now shows in google search results when my name is searched and there is no way to disable this. I’ve reached out to the company three times to see if I am missing something and they have not responded. Not using the app until this is addressed.

honestly feel like so many apps have tried to be like this one and failed or had some shortcomings that people couldn’t overlook. corner srsly has everything id want in a city exploration app and its ease of use is genuinely incredible. thanks for building this. also LOVE the events portion as well, wish there were some more event series on here but nothing that couldn’t be easily added!

Love this app! It’s so fun and a great way to find all types of new places. I would love if the app had a ranking feature within my lists so that I could prioritize which of my ‘want to try’ places I want to go to first. Maybe a way to compare priority with my list collaborators too?

You are literally the best I love you. I went on a trip to visit friends and had all the best spots to go right at my finger tips. Love that I can share my opinions about spots and see others too, AND type in what im looking for and a bunch of options show up. Cannot cannot cannot say thank you enough for this im such a fan.

its a great idea to make an app featuring local places and third spaces for people to connect; what isn't great is using an AI algorithm to just rip people's saved spots. this entire concept is user dependent while the brand can just sit back and do barely any work!! 
i dont need AI in my spaces i want meaningful human to human recommendations! screw off!!
