A few months back, I was advised by a member of the Cornerstone office that they soon would not be accepting paper checks and that I needed to scan checks with this app of theirs. The past 2 times I have tried this, the app tells me that the check scan has been successful. However there is no credit to my account. Both times I have ended up having to pay with my debit card and then do the mandatory service fee. Rent payments frequently do not update to reflect in the app and on several occasions the app has completely failed to complete rent payments despite returning messaging and emails that say otherwise. Considering many residents use this app to pay for their rent, mistakes like this are unacceptable. ### 1/5 — im giving this 5 stars so yall see *2025-05-31, version 24.6.0* cornerstone is an allegiance of money vampires, and if you work for them, you’re a shell of a human. you make love with rigidity, your palms are cold to the touch, you do not delight in art or music. i moved into my apartment before they were taken over by cornerstone, and i imagine this is how those eastern nations felt when the crusaders came through—pillaging the land, and burning all that was good. ### 1/5 — Forced to pay service fee *2025-05-01, version 24.6.0* Your bank account will not be able to be linked for payments so you'll be forced to pay the $5 to use a debit card. I’ve been at The Sir Richard 10-years without issues ever resolved. What a difference it makes to have Cornerstone be the new management! Even the hallway carpets are clean and the laundry room is noticeably cleaner. Plus our building manager Joe Cisneros is very responsive and respectful.
